Absolutely awful experience. Family of 6 & we booked here for 3 nights. As soon as we got there, I had a bad feeling so I went in to investigate the room before us all going in. The room was open plan with a kitchen & dining area (with 2 double beds) on the ground floor, then stairs going up to another bedroom (with another double bed). As I pulled the 2 beds away from the wall on the ground floor, there were lots of ants crawling all across the skirting boards & the room was dirty, even had a half eaten cookie on the floor, so it obviously had not been cleaned. We got in touch with hotels.com & was advised to contact the hotel reception, which we did. The hotel reception told us it was nothing to do with them & to contact the apartment private host who they contacted on the phone for us. We complained, but the host said as it was 7pm, she could not do anything & took our number and said she would call us back. She never did. The next morning, my husband pulled the fridge out to see if there was food under there which could have been attracting the ants, & a cockroach ran out. I went to reception & demanded her direct number. I called her & she said to communicate over whatsapp. She got the reception staff to go in & spray somethibg to get rid of the ants, but completely ignored the cockroach situation. We saw another 2 after this, so took pictures and videos for evidence. Absolutely filthy. Traumatising for us & our children. Currently in the process of taking it higher.

Penthouse was clean and very big with an amazing view but the valet parking would take 30-40mins to get your car. Pool was closed for 1/2 of stay and pool environment was not kid friendly. Had to buy aluminum cookie sheets, use towels as pot holders, no salt/pepper, no extra garbage bags or toilet paper. Can never get Sea Stays host on the phone when you call.

Great Location - Needs Updates

First the positives-Excellent location, open spacious floor plan with ample furnished deck. There was plenty of clean towels and good supply of soap and shampoo in bathrooms. Upon arrival, the unit smelled like cleaning products. The living room featured a large tv, ceiling fan and nice beachy artwork. The unit had plenty of outlets and USB ports for charging devices. We enjoyed having 2 full bathrooms plus a powder room for our family of 5. The pool was large and there were chairs available. Unfortunately, the entire complex is way overdue for an upgrade. The exterior needs painting, many repairs and looked generally quite run down. There was no in-unit laundry, and the basement laundry room featured the oldest & most worn-out machines (many broken) I have ever seen. The lock for the slider our deck, was broken, as was the beach umbrella. The air vents were completely full of dust. The blinds covering the large windows to the beach were also broken, and we could open only one of them. While the bathrooms had been cleaned, there were a many stains and rust that needed repair. There was no coffee maker (only an espresso machine with 3 pods). The front desk staff was not friendly or helpful. We arrived before the check in time and asked if our unit might be ready early. The clerk said she couldn't check that for me unless we had paid for early check in. She wouldn't even confirm my reservation. Overall, there were some nice features, but I would not stay here again.

The check in process was slow, no communication on the room details and properties or parking. Lost our car, had to help them find it. Elevator takes a long time, not practical. Room floor was dirty, shower and sink clogged and water everywhere when we showed. Take a long time to get help when needed and yo park, not a pleasant overall experience. Only thing we like was a quiet beach and that the beach chair was offered but umbrella was broken, had to ask for a new one and getting that also took time.

The host was very responsive. However, the parking is terrible. From arrival, there was a very long line of over 15 cars backed up from the front door ramp to Collins Ave, backing traffic up on the local lane. The parking attendants are very slow. From the moment you arrive with your vehicle at any point during your stay, it takes about 20 minutes before they receive your vehicle for valet parking. When going out, you are also forced to wait several minutes while parking attendants bring you vehicle. The check-in process is also horrendous. The check-in line wraps around the cylinder shape wall for security to assist you. Security is not too friendly and if the host has not provided them with your information, you are moved aside and skipped until the host gets a hold of them, which was my experience. Check-in took us well over 20 minutes. To access the fitness center, you have to check with security each time first. Also, this property sated that it was "Pool Access' and we did not have a pool access room. We were on the 12th floor, so don't let that fool you. Also, don't let the photos distract you, as they are not what the room resembled. In the room we killed 2 small cockroaches; one in the bathroom and one in the large closet. On the second to last day, thee elevators stopped working, forcing us to go up and down the stairs to the 12th floor. We did have a nice small window view of the ocean on one side and a view of Collins Ave. on the other.

For the price it was amazing and the view of our room was incredible. Plenty of silverware and plates. The espresso machine was great as well. The beds were also very comfortable.

Cons- The apartment itself seems relatively modern but has cheap aesthetics so there is a lot of ware-and-tear. TV remotes control both TVs in the apartment and they are in very close proximity of each other. There was no pot to cook with, just a small beat up pan. The elevators also take forever during high traffic hours. The security at the pool act like bouncers. The restaurant serves mediocre food. These are all minor inconveniences but collectively they add up and after an extended stay started to get to me. Pros- The location is prime. It is quiet and steps from the beach. There is a bar by the pool with decent enough bar food. There is also a small convenience store in the basement. The building itself felt safe and secure to stay in. The ocean view and sunrises are absolutely stunning and that alone makes the stay worth it. I would stay here again but probably not with kids

I had a great stay at this condo hotel! Check-in was smooth and easy, and the staff was kind enough to accommodate my early check-in request. The room was clean, well-equipped, and had a breathtaking city view. The location is perfect—just a short walk to the beach, and the on-site pool is also a great option for relaxing. The valet service can get busy at times, but it wasn’t too bad. Overall, a great experience, and I’d definitely stay here again!

Communication was awful. Check in was not great. Front desk Staff unfriendly and not helpful. Valet parking was pretty inconvenient. Room was not quite as pictured. Old peeling paint broken cabinet in bathroom.
