Under construction

The property was under major construction when we arrived. We are talking black tarps over the entire building, scaffolding around the perimeter, men jackhammering as of 8:30am. There was no pool, there was no view, there was no aesthetic appeal. The host was incredibly responsive until the minute I expressed discontent with the property. Then, crickets. VRBO customer service had to intervene, asking for photos of the property and reaching out to the host on our behalf to try to obtain a refund. It was a really sad way to spend our vacation, considering we had flown across the country to be there.
