Check-in was an easy process, the rooms were clean and bug free. I didn't hear any of the outside noise even though its located in the heart of south beach and spring break (or lack there of in March 2025)

Valet parking is not in front or beside the hotel. It’s actually a block away. We were not told that up front so we spend an extra 45 min going in a circle due to the road closures. It would have been nice for the hotel to have told us that ahead of time. We paid the $120 to park just to have to wait the next day to get our car ourselves out of a small parking lot. The rooms are incredibly small and look nothing like they do in the photos nor are they soundproofed as advertised. We had a stranger walk right into our room in the middle of the afternoon. Didn’t feel that there was much in the way of security there. We also walked two blocks over to get a decent non expensive breakfast. There was no way I was going to spend $120 for three people to eat an egg sandwich. On a positive note, staff members were excellent and the area is convenient for the nightlife.

Lovely hotel and staff, and the pool is great. Very nice location by the sea with lots of shops and restaurants around. Combines the best of all worlds. My only complaint is that the food is super expensive.

Hilton’s Disregard for Diversity

I stayed at this hotel for a three-day business trip. I arrived late and didn’t pay much attention to the artwork on the walls at first. But the next morning, I noticed one of the pictures—a scene of white women happily frolicking in the water while Black workers looked on. It immediately struck me, given the painful history it represents. There was a time when people like me (BIPOC) weren’t even allowed to swim in South Beach until 11:30 pm. The other two pictures also featured only white women posing in swimwear. I was shocked and disappointed that a major hotel chain like Hilton would be so tone-deaf and lacking in inclusivity—especially in today’s world. I emailed the hotel’s assistant manager, Mr. Harrison, to express my discomfort, pointing out that they serve a diverse clientele and should be more mindful of the message their decor sends. Not a single response. In a time as divisive as this, with rising intolerance and hate under Trump, you’d think businesses would do better. But the silence speaks volumes. I will never stay at this hotel again, and I’ll be sharing the letter I wrote everywhere. I hope other BIPOC travelers choose to spend their money somewhere that truly values and respects all people.

The hotel was very nice. Great location right across from the beach and had daily beach chairs. Our room from the pictures was to have a small table and two chairs, but did not. Overall though it is a great hotel and locaton.
