Everything on the pool level was great, the service, the staff, pool and food. As for the rooms I didn't know this hotel was part of an apartment block, it took me back to my student days. The apartment is so loud with people around if you want a peaceful night sleep I would not recommend level 17.

George, Bianca and Cindy were amazing! My original room was not up to par as far as cleaning goes and the lights were not working properly. George made a few calls and he was able to upgrade my room. My stay was outstanding! The service, the cleanliness, the rooftop pool and restaurant... all incredible! The pool is temperature controlled. They even have complimentary fitness classes! It's right across the street from Brickell which has lots of food, shopping, and entertainment. We had a great view of the city and cruise port from the room. I'll definitely stay here again. I don't think I've ever given a hotel 5 stars. The Elser is worth 10!!

I would highly recommend this hotel. Our room was large, had a full kitchen, sofa and table for two. There was a washer, dryer that we surprisingly needed. The hotel was in a perfect location for an overnight stay before our cruise, and we could see our ship from our balcony. We was right across the street from the outdoor mall that has lots of places to eat marina front. The didn’t eat at the dinner restaurant but really enjoyed our breakfast by the pool. Loved the Nutella pancakes!!! Definitely will be our go to spot in Miami.

Our stay was disappointing. At check-in, the receptionist appeared disengaged and curt. While she was not overtly rude, she was inattentive, especially in comparison to the other two receptionists who greeted guests warmly and offered beverages. We received no such courtesy and instead were met with an eye roll. The room condition was unacceptable. There was a stain on the couch, hair on the bedsheets, and used eyelash clusters left on the coffee table. The pull-out couch had no pillows, sheets, or blankets. Only two sets of towels were provided in the bathroom. We called three times for additional linens and were initially told no blankets were available. After two hours and repeated follow-ups, we received three towel sets, sheets, and a comforter, but still no blanket. The bathroom lighting was extremely poor. We requested housekeeping on the second day and were assured it would be completed. When we returned in the evening, the room had not been serviced. After calling again, an attendant arrived with towels only. I had to specifically ask that he take the used towels, and no trash was removed. The following morning, I had a similar experience with the same receptionist. Although the hotel has a restaurant and bar, I was informed they had no milk available and was told to walk to CVS. When I asked for directions, she rolled her eyes and simply pointed. While the location is excellent, the service and cleanliness issues were significant. I would never stay here again.
