Very cute property. Clean and well-maintained. We stayed in a suite. Everything about it was great. The only suggestion to the management to add more lighting. Rooms were pretty dark in the evening.

Price and location were good. Nice boutique hotel. Unfortunately, there were many issues: We got the room after 4 p.m. The smell in the hotel and room was horrible. They probably have an underlying problem that they are trying to mask. The windows in our room did not open, and our view was of another building less than a meter away. Beach access is through a third party. We got two chairs far from the beach (an umbrella costs $22) with no drink service. Finally, valet parking ($49 per night) was a total disaster. They work with a third party that services six hotels and only have two spots in front of the hotel. During rush hour, there was no space to park, and they took forever to retrieve the car (I stayed outside, which helped me avoid a ticket). When we were ready to leave for the airport, it took them over 30 minutes to get our car, even though the standard wait time was supposed to be 15 minutes.

I recently stayed at UMA House and had a mixed experience. Here’s a breakdown: Pros: Fantastic location: The hotel is in a prime spot, making it easy to walk to the beach, restaurants, and shops. Spacious room: The room had plenty of space to move around, which was a nice surprise. Cons: Noisy doors: The doors slam shut loudly, which meant being woken up several times throughout the night. This was a major downside. Uncomfortable bed: The bed was not as comfortable as I’d hoped, making it difficult to get a good night’s sleep. While the location and room size were great, the lack of comfort and the noise made the stay less enjoyable. If these issues were addressed, it could be a much better experience.

Pros: 1. Great location: The hotel is very close to the beach and within walking distance to almost everything. 2. Rooftop and pool: The rooftop area is cozy and pleasant. The pool, while not large, is sufficient and enjoyable. 3. Spacious room and clean bathroom: The room was large, and the bathroom was one of the cleanest and most modern I’ve seen. 4. Ample storage space: Plenty of closets in the room made storing belongings easy. 5. Free wine hour: Complimentary wine service on the rooftop from 5-6 PM was a delightful touch. Cons: 1. Ventilation issues: The lack of proper ventilation was disappointing. Opening windows wasn’t possible, which made the room feel stuffy and restrictive. Nights were especially uncomfortable due to poor air circulation. 2. Internet issues: While WiFi worked fine for basic tasks, it was slow for downloads. Mobile internet also struggled to connect. 3. Lack of seating: The room would benefit from a small chair or couch beyond the bed for added comfort. 4. Terrible coffee: The coffee was extremely disappointing. Uma House should consider changing their supplier or coffee quality. Overall: A solid 4/5. The location, spacious rooms, and rooftop are definite highlights, but issues like ventilation and coffee quality were unfortunate. Note: The staff were excellent—kind and attentive, though valet drivers could improve.

The Best Hotel...Can't Wait To Go Back

The most beautiful, clean, and impeccably staffed hotel I’ve experienced in years. From the moment I arrived, every detail exceeded my expectations. The attention to cleanliness and the stylish, modern decor create a sense of luxury and comfort that’s hard to find. The staff is not only professional but genuinely welcoming, making you feel at home the moment you walk into the lobby. And a special shout out to Rachel. I can’t wait to return and will make it my go-to every time I'm in the area. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a top-notch experience! Oh, and it's a block from the beach and 2 blocks from the Miami Beach Convention Center!
