It was advertised as accessible, yet upon arrival late in the evening, we found it was anything but. My elderly mother-in-law uses a wheelchair, and the property had stairs everywhere—no ramps, not even a step-free entry. The host knew of our accessibility needs, yet we were left in a situation where my mother-in-law was unable to move freely inside.On arrival, the property was unclean. There was garbage piled outside, broken glass on the floor, and a bad smell in the kitchen. No towels were provided, and the so-called accessible bathroom had no supportive bars. We were also woken up by a cleaning team the next morning in the backyard without prior notice. When I requested that they not clean inside while we were still sleeping, one host became extremely rude, saying we could leave but offering no refund.Thankfully, the other host was more polite on VRBO chat and did offer a late checkout, but the pool cleaning request was refused out of spite, referencing that we had asked them not to come inside previously. Overall, this was a case of false advertising and poor management, especially for a property claiming accessibility. I would not recommend this property to anyone expecting accessibility or basic hospitality.
