Stunning home in Middelkerke/Westende

The vacation home welcomes you in Middelkerke, on the Belgian coast and in a very quiet area, 100 meters from Golfclub Westende. After a day at the beach, you can enjoy a glass of wine on one of the terraces and enjoy the sun from morning to evening. The house is located in a row of 6 houses with parking. You live in a pleasant green environment and the owner has invested a lot of time and energy in the house. You enter the living room with spacious seating, the eat-in kitchen is separate and overlooks the enclosed terrace. The large bedroom is spacious and comfortable, the small bedroom is furnished with a comfortable sofa bed that can be converted into a good double bed in no time at all. The village stores and restaurants are within walking distance and there is even an indoor playground.

There is plenty to do in the area: shopping in Nieuwpoort or Ostend, Europe's largest marina in Nieuwpoort, the casino of Ostend or Middelkerke, for the children Plopsaland De Panne and Sealife in Blankenberge. Exploring the West Flemish hinterland is also very attractive. Visit Ypres with the Museum In Flanders Fields or Diksmuide and Veurne with its beautiful stepped gables. Best of all, of course, is Bruges with its beautiful medieval buildings and surprisingly beautiful canals. It's the good life on the Belgian coast!

Die Eigentümerin hat uns sehr herzlich empfangen und wir haben uns in dem schönen und gepflegten Ferienhaus sehr wohl gefühlt. Der schöne Strand ist zu Fuß schnell zu erreichen und unsere Fahrräder konnten wir auf der abgeschlossenen Terrasse abstellen :-)

Eine sehr gute Alternative zur Deutschen Nord-Ostsee

Wir waren das erste mal an der belgischen Küste, es ist hier lange nicht so überlaufen wie an den Deutschen Küsten und wir waren zufrieden.

Zimmerangaben waren unzureichend

Das Haus hat insgesamt einen guten Eindruck gemacht und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt .Die Austtattung ist sehr gut. Jedoch war es für uns Oma ,Mutter und Kleinkind schwierig mit der Übernachtung.Das angebenen Gästezimmer war eine Zumutung.Ein harte Klappsofa ,sollte ein Bett sein. Es gab weder Licht und die Möglichkeit das Fenster abzudunkeln. Das Zimmer hatte kein Nachttisch und auch sonst nichts zu bieten. Für uns unbrauchbar .So mußte ich mit meiner Tochter im Doppelbett schlafen und das Baby schlief im mitgebrachten Reisebett.Ich fand das sehr ärgerlich ,weil das Haus für 4 Leute angeben war . Für mich völlig unakzeptabel.Die Vermieterin war bei Ansprache auch sehr unkooperativ und so blieb uns nichts anders übrig als das es hinzunehmen.
