We visited for one overnight. Our room ("Patience") was on the 2nd floor and you arrived at the room from outside the main building via the covered porch and up a narrow-ish set of stairs. The farmhouse is historic (from 1790s) and rustic. This room does have the slanted ceilings above several of the beds, limited furniture, and no tv (tv is available in a common area in the main house). The private bathroom has a single shower stall and single sink. The delicate water pressure in the shower made it difficult to rinse (in our opinion). The queen bed had two nightstands and a trunk at the foot of the bed for placing belongings; the 3 twin beds did not have associated furniture. We had 3 people in the room and thought that was plenty although there are sleeping accommodations for 5. The parking is ample. We stayed overnight on a Tuesday and the associated restaurant was closed so did not get to try it. Breakfast was absolutely delicious and the chef was accommodating to individual choices. It was by far the bright spot of our stay. Our booking said it was included in our room (although it seems like now the listing where we booked through hotels.com says "surcharge" which I don't remember from when we booked). Be prepared for an added fee to be charged- which we were not so that caused us confusion. Breakfast hours were 8am-9:30. If you plan to try to get to skiing on the early side, then you'll need to adjust. Having coffee/tea available in evening would be nice.
