Welcome to Papa's Cabin—a rustic country retreat where you can slow down, unplug, and enjoy 40 private acres all to yourself.

This special property was our late father's home for more than 20 years. It was where our family gathered to fish, BBQ, celebrate holidays, and make memories we'll cherish forever. When we inherited the property, we knew we wanted to preserve those memories by sharing this peaceful place with others.

Surrounded by the beauty of Missouri's Amish Country, Papa's Cabin is the perfect place to watch wildlife, cast a line in the private lake, gather around the fire pit, or simply relax with a cup of coffee while taking in the sunrise from the porch. At night, enjoy incredible sunsets followed by some of the best stargazing you'll find.

Inside, you'll find a clean, comfortable, and spacious cabin with rustic charm and thoughtful updates throughout. Recent improvements include fresh paint, updated lighting, refurbished furnishings, and new hot water heaters, with additional renovations continuing as we preserve the character of the home.

The cabin comfortably accommodates families and groups with:

Two bedrooms and two full bathrooms
A queen master suite with a private bath and walk-in closet
A second bedroom with a queen bed plus a twin-over-full bunk bed
Two cozy living areas with comfortable seating and Fire TVs

We absolutely loved our stay at the cabin!! So much space to spread out inside, and the property & lake are so peaceful and enjoyable to explore. Though we only spent one night, we really loved it there, and will definitely be back when we are in the area visiting family!

This place was seriously a slice of heaven. The hosts were very attentive and welcoming! The house was fully stocked with anything we may have needed, we will definitely be back!
