We had a great stay!

It was beautiful and we had a nice stay. Not a complaint, but something to note, the pool is heated but not to a comfortable point for this time of year. Some of my group tolerated it will and others didn't. It was clean and well maintained though.

My room was very clean and very comfortable to be in. The staff was amazing they did go out of their way to make you feel welcome. For breakfast one day they made us fresh eggs, that was very nice of them because the breakfast was about to close so they didn’t have to do that.

Usually a great stay, not so lucky this time.

I’ve stayed at this hotel before which is why I chose it again & took my family with me. Usually I inspect the bed prior to getting in, but after a 6 hour drive, we showered & went right to bed. I started seeing something moving out of the side of my eye while browsing on my phone. EVERYTIME I would turn on the flashlight or the room lamp, I saw a bug crawling. Google says it’s bed bugs!! Everyone was knocked out, I killed about 5 after inspecting my entire bed & mattress. My nephew was bit & said he was itchy & he was on the other bed so it wasn’t contained to just one bed. None of our luggage was out on the bed, mine was kept on a table the whole time. After inspecting in the morning, found no traces but that doesn’t mean there weren’t any eggs. Maybe the sheets weren’t washed in hot water prior to distributing & that’s how they were transferred from previous guest with bugs? The mattress looked clean & there were no visible critters on it or the wood headboard. I woke up with 5 bites on my arm ( I sleep with my arm near my face) after the 2nd night there & about 6 more on my face & neck the day after that-Google says it could take days for visible welts from bites so it makes sense. I had to deep clean my car once home & my clothes & other belongings are still isolated days later after running through hot cycles just in case.
