This charming apartment in La Cala de Mijas offers a cosy retreat for up to four guests. With two bedrooms, the master ensuite features a European king-size bed and a jetted bathtub, while the second bedroom has twin beds—perfect for families or friends looking for a relaxing stay. Calazul is one of the most popular places to stay in La Cala de Mijas, and it’s easy to see why. Surrounded by lush tropical gardens, the complex offers two fabulous swimming pools plus two children’s pools. The setting is tranquil and beautiful, yet just a five-minute walk brings you to the vibrant town centre, with hundreds of shops, bars, cafés, and restaurants—all leading to the popular sandy beach.

Everything is within walking distance of our recently redecorated, fully equipped two-bedroom apartment.

We are delighted to offer this first-floor apartment (with lift access), located just minutes from the centre of La Cala on foot. No need for taxis—simply wander out and enjoy everything this charming Spanish village has to offer, or relax by one of the two communal pools set within the central gardens.

The local supermarket is just across the road—perfect for picking up fresh bread in the morning.

The apartment has recently been refurbished with new beds (one king-size and two twins) and styled with a modern touch. The kitchen is very well equipped—there’s even an air fryer! We are nearby and available to assist with anything you may need during your stay. We provide bed linen, towels, beach towels, parasols, and some kitchen essentials to get you started.

The apartment includes WiFi, air conditioning, beach towels, a beach cool box (with ice packs), and basic kitchen supplies. For full details, please check the amenities list.

We can also provide baby cots and high chairs for a weekly hire fee, payable on arrival. Please reserve these in advance.

The entire apartment is yours to enjoy. While the pool and gardens are shared with other residents, the apartment and terrace are completely private.

Free street parking is available just outside the apartment.

As with all properties close to the town centre, there may occasionally be local festivals or celebrations. This is part of Spanish life, and while being within walking distance of everything is a great advantage, it can also mean some noise during busy periods. Please note that the apartment does not overlook the pool area.

Location, location.. This property checks all of the boxes from check in to check out…. Located within a short walk to sea and its wonderful boardwalk we enjoyed walking everyday, along with lunch and beverage at one of the local chiringuitos. Everything is within walking distance, & local transportation is close by as well eliminating the need for a car, however ample parking on street if one was chosen ; a well stocked grocery store across the street was a nice plus. Although we did not golf on this vacation, there are several golf courses in the vacinity .. From the time we booked John was very helpful and responded to any pre-vacation questions we had. At arrival, he met us at the property to give us the lay of the land along with a lovely couple of bottles of wine and water. During our holiday, he and Brian were always ready to help with any questions we had. The condo, has all the amenities one needs on holiday, a nicely appointed kitchen, large outdoor deck, great wifi service and if so chosen, a smart tv. There is also a lovely pool however we never used it favouring the sea view. Check out was also seamless. Overall the condo is a great place to stay, for a reasonably priced, relaxing winter getaway! Thank you John & Brian…. We hope to see you again.

Just as advertised and everything we needed! Very walkable with lots of restaurants nearby. Lidl across the street for groceries. We loved the big veranda balcony for morning coffee every day. John was a wonderful host who was very responsive to all queries!

Fabulous stay , great location. Short walk to the beach and Lidl opposite for everything you need Apartment was super clean and had lots of extras in the kitchen which were appreciated . Every detail was thought of including beach towels and welcome beers ! John and Brian the hosts were wonderful , check in details were easy for our driver and being met by John to show us around is always five star for me. They were both very kind to us and thoughtful. We would stay again . With grateful thanks to both .

Perfect host and perfect apartment

I’ve rented a few holiday lets from vrbo but this host was probably the best. They sent me a google pin of the place, the written address and a picture of the gate I needed to access. The owner met us with the key and gave us a walk through and a list of local restaurants etc. I’m not exaggerating when I say the apartment had EVERYTHING from shower gel, mozzy plugs dish soap even coffee pods!!! Ideally located 10 mins walk to a nice choice of bars and restaurants and 15 mins walk to the bustling la Cala village where you’ll find no end of bars and restaurants and an amazing beach. Pool really nice tooIf I was coming to this area again I would 100% book this apartment again

The apartment was exactly as described! Spotlessly clean and very well equipped. I had travelled with 2 girlfriends, and the apartment was ideally located for the supermarket and an easy walk to the beach and town. Easily accessible too are nearby restaurants and bars. The pools and setting of the apartments are very well kept. John was so helpful leaving us all WiFi and other details. Even a bottle of cava was in the fridge. I would highly recommend this apartment and I would definitely stay again.

Mijas revisited

Lovely place to stay. Great location to beach and stores. Very walkable area. Condo is in good shape. You can sit out on the patio and watch the world go by. Good ocean view. John was wonderful to work and available if needed. We liked it so much we extended our stay for another week or so . Wouldn't hesitate to stay there again, Thanks for all you do

La Cala

We had a wonderful 12 days staying here . The apartment was private , secure and had everything we needed . It was walking distance to everything . Beach , town , bars and restaurants. The hosts John and Brian were awesome and were lifesavers the day of the power cuts throughout Spain . Not all super heroes wear capes . Would definitely recommend and we will be back as soon as we can .
