Excellent Milan Hotel!

A great hotel located near the central station on a quiet street. The staff are wonderful and friendly and helpful. The Owners are present as it is a family owned and run property. They have only 50 rooms so it is very personal. Fantastic service and rooms clean and good size. Highly recommend this superb hotel

Good transient stay

Stayed for 1 night as I needed to catch the flight in MXP the other day. The hotel is close to the central station. It is close enough that even for the passengers with big luggage, they should be able to manage it from the station to hotel. Central station has regular shuttle bus to all the three airports in Milano so for the transient passengers it could be a good choice (just need to calculate the time needed). The hotel itself has ordinary breakfast, the internet is not free but with a acceptable price. The room I stayed (single room) was a bit small but is quite ok for one night. My job requires me to stay in many different hotels so I would say this hotel has good value considering it is located in central Milano, with the location being its biggest advantage.

ideal for a shopping trip!

The hotel right next to Milano Centrale is ideally located even for those who embark on their journeys without maps and much preparation. The staff were super friendly and helpful, even when we ended up asking them non-tourism related questions. The bathroom in the room looks fantastic, they managed to really make it comfortable despite its tiny size, and the room itself was very comfortable, too. We had no outside view, but that was also not a criterium that we had set in advance, ergo not a disappointment at all. All in all, I would recommend this hotel to weekenders and shoppers. If I were to plan a longer stay in Milan, I'd also go back to Hotel Flora, but in that case, probably to a room with a view.

- Zimmerbezug erst nach fast 1 Stunde ( um 17 Uhr) Wartezeit, da angeblich ein Rohr repariert werden musste. Tatsächlich war die Reinigungsperson noch daran das Zimmer zu reinigen und wusste nichts von einem kaputten Rohr im Zimmer. - Kühlschranktemperatur war inakzeptabel warm. Kühlschrank hatte lediglich 2 Flaschen Wasser, obwohl im Zimmer eine Getränkekarte mit Preisen vorhanden war. Reception antwortete auf meinem Hinweis dass viele Leute nicht die Getränke zahlen und darum wird nicht mehr aufgefüllt. - Klimaanlage stellt um 3 Uhr Morgens ab, bis 8 Uhr. In einem kleinen Zimmer wird es ohne Klimaanlage sehr stickig. Reception antwortete auf meinem Hinweis, dass er nichts davon wüsste das die Klimaanlage in der Nacht abgestellt wird. - Im ganzen Hotel ( Zimmer, öffentliche Bereiche, Lift etc) sind Verhaltensregeln, Weisungen, Restriktionen aufgehängt. Es macht den Anschein, dass dieses Hotel betreffend Kundenbeziehungen noch einiges zu lernen hat. Mit Verbote und restriktive Hinweise fühlt msn sich nicht als Gast. Ebenfalls schien mir das Personal nicht besonders motiviert. - Im grossen und ganzen eine sehr enttäuschende Erfahrung in einem sogenannten 3-Sternehotel wo für ein Zimmer euro 240.- gekostet hat ist eine Zumutung!

Dear Maurizio, Thank you for your comment. We really apologize because your room was not ready at the check in. Unfortunately in the early afternoon we had to fix a water loss in the bathroom of your room. So when you checked in at 4.00 p.m. our staff was still cleaning the room. But please note that the waiting time was 15 minutes and not 1 hour. In addition, our staff offered you a welcome drink for that inconvenience and you refused it. Our minibar are at the moment equipped with mineral water only but additional drinks are available at our bar. A/C is working 7/24 at the moment. If it automatically turns off is because it detects a low temperature. We believe that the instructions and notices in the rooms and in the elevators might help our customers rather than scary them. We hope to have the chane to welcoming you again.
