Excellent Stay!

This house was the perfect place for my family -- including husband, kids, my parents, and my father-in-law -- to stay for the weekend. There was plenty of space for everyone to have their own areas, but also spend time together. The house was beautiful and well-maintained with lots of thoughtful details. The kids enjoyed exploring the property and loved that we had s'mores ingredients left for us to enjoy. And Innisfree Garden is a short drive or a long walk away for a little change of scenery. We're already talking about another all-family trip in the future and this house would be a top choice for our stay.

Beautiful house and spectacular location

Three couples enjoyed a weekend here. The house was as beautiful as the VRBO pictures showed. Everything in the house seemed brand new. It came with many kitchen supplies, snacks, and even a bottle of local wine. The house is set on multiple acres of rolling landscaped hills. Even more beautiful than the VRBO pics. The location is great for sight-seeing. Near Hyde Park and all the FDR attractions. Plus Inisfree Gardens, regarded as one of the 10 best gardens in the world, is 1/2 mile down the road. Don’t miss that.

Great place for a family retreat!

We met here from all parts of the country including NYC and Texas. The property is perfectly located on a quiet country road near Millbrook, NY. The house is situated on a lot framed by 2 farms and offers gorgeous views of the hills beyond from every room. The large kitchen was well apportioned with everything we needed to make a family meal. We found coffee and teas and other treats waiting for us. We enjoyed that kitchen, dining room, and living room were all one big open space for easy family interaction. We were 8 adults and 1 baby. Everyone loved being together in this beautiful home.

Wonderful house for some much needed rest and relaxation, with family and friends. We had a party of 9, but the property was large enough to find a comfortable quiet spot as well. Fall colors and views were the best! Catherine was super accommodating, and super responsive to all our inquiries! Highly recommended!!!!

Beautiful comfortable home

We had a wonderful stay at this property. It was immaculate, comfortable and welcoming. Very well equiped with everything you would need, plus the welcome treats which were greatly appreciated. The grounds of the house were very well kept and the location is peaceful with a beautiful view while only being 5 minutes from Millbrook town. Highly recommend!
