SUITE ON JACKSON: Downtown Boutique Escape for Couples & Small Groups
Welcome to an intimate 2-bedroom loft where thoughtfully curated design, art inspiration, immaculate presentation, and genuine hospitality converge. This is the kind of place guests describe as "even more beautiful in person than the photos"—a downtown sanctuary where every detail whispers intentionality and every moment invites connection.
THE SPACE
Your historic building dates to 1900, but the experience is entirely modern. During a careful 2022–23 remodel, original 125+ year old brick walls were exposed, creating the perfect backdrop for a contemporary downtown apartment aesthetic. The space celebrates its heritage with framed historical findings discovered during renovation, curated pieces, and design elements that tell a story unique to this place.
The living room is designed for comfort and gathering. An indoor fireplace creates instant coziness, while a dedicated reading nook and workspace mean you can settle in with a book, work comfortably, or simply unwind. Large windows frame downtown views; heavy drapes and new insulation keep the space peaceful despite the main-street location. A 65-inch smart TV with your personal concierge built in. Take a look through our guidebook and services. Streaming apps offers entertainment, and board games invite evening fun.
A fully furnished seasonal patio seats four comfortably— perfect for morning coffee or evening conversation when weather permits. (Note: Seasonal usability varies; spring and fall typically offer the best outdoor experience.)
BEDROOMS & BATHROOMS
Two generous bedrooms each feature a queen bed dressed in hotel-quality linens that guests consistently praise for exceptional comfort. Extra pillows and blankets are available for personalized coziness.
The bathroom is a standout feature that guests rave about. A large walk-in shower and free-standing soaking tub create a spa-like retreat. Many guests indulge in long bubble baths here, surrounded by luxury robes, premium toiletries, and mood lighting that transform the space into a genuine sanctuary. Hotel-quality towels wrap you in softness.
KITCHEN & DINING
Enter directly into a full kitchen stocked with cooking basics and cookware—everything you need for casual to more ambitious meal preparation. A dining table seats your group comfortably, and a dishwasher handles cleanup.
The coffee bar—stocked with coffee, tea, and seasonally with hot chocolate—invites you to linger over morning ritual. A fun greenery photo wall in the kitchen provides Instagram-worthy moments. New! A painted photo wall on the patio creates another opportunity to capture memories.
LOCATION & WALKABILITY
You're positioned in a walkable downtown location. Restaurants, shops, galleries, and local attractions are within easy walking distance or a short drive. Guests consistently mention the convenience of exploring on foot, discovering cafes, antique shops, and community spaces that define the neighborhood's character.
Free reserved parking for 1 car behind the building (marked with clear signage) means you're set for day trips and exploration. This central location gives you access to local dining and amenities while serving as a base for exploring the surrounding region.

DESIGN PHILOSOPHY & BOUTIQUE CHARACTER
What makes this a "boutique" stay? The space is intentionally intimate—designed for up to 4 guests—and thoughtfully designed throughout. Rather than cookie-cutter matching, you'll find carefully curated decor, local-inspired pieces, historical framed findings from the building's renovation, and design choices that reflect the building's heritage. Guests consistently note that the apartment is even more stunning in person than in photos.
GOOD TO KNOW
Access: The apartment is on the second floor. There are 20+ stairs to climb from street level. You will enter from the back, but an interior staircase leads to Jackson Street; keys are provided.
Street location: You're on the main street, so downtown activity is part of the experience. The building has been well insulated with new windows and heavy drapes to minimize street noise. Guests note the insulation is effective—maintaining a peaceful interior despite the downtown location.
Parking: Free reserved parking for 1 car is located behind the building. Clear signage marks your spot, and directions are provided on arrival.
Seasonal considerations: The outdoor patio is seasonal; spring through fall typically offers the most comfortable outdoor experience. The hot chocolate bar is also seasonal.
