Bedroom 2: 2 x Single (3ft) Beds
Bathroom: Bath, Cubicle Shower, Toilet. Oil central heating, gas, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Travel cot and highchair. Welcome pack. External orangery.. Enclosed back garden with patio and BBQ. Wood-fired tub for 4 (private). Electric vehicle charging point. Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking. Please note: There is a step in the garden.. Completely refurbished for 2023, this property will delight all who stay. On one level, this cosy cottage features a charming living area with original beams, a wood burner, comfy seating for four, a Smart TV, books, and board games, perfect for relaxing after an activity-packed day. It will be a pleasure to cook up a feast in the country-style kitchen with all modern conveniences. A large heated conservatory overlooking the garden with plenty of seating for the whole family is just across the courtyard from the kitchen. The garden to the rear is primarily laid to lawn and features a brick barbecue, patio with garden furniture and a wood-fired hot tub with views over the countryside.
Hillview is located in the small hamlet of Millness less than 10 minutes’ drive from J36 of the M6 motorway. This makes the cottage easily accessible for both short breaks and longer stays. There is an abundance of walks on the doorstep, including a leisurely stroll along the Lancaster Canal Towpath less than 5 minutes’ away by car. There are many popular cycling routes in the area making it ideal for cycling enthusiasts too.
The town of Kendal is 20 minutes’ away by car and boasts shops, restaurants, cafés, bars and many supermarkets, and Windermere can be reached within 30 minutes’. Hill View is conveniently located to take advantage of both the Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales National Parks, you will be spoilt for choice for things to see and do.
