AVOID!
A horrible overall experience that luckily only lasted for 24 hours as we immediately found another accommodation. It is hard to choose if the room or the service was worse
We arrived early and been told the room is not ready but we can leave our luggage securely. Upon our return in the afternoon we found our belongings completely unattended and nobody on site. After a bit of checking online we finally found a telephone number of the owner who said she will send someone. Few minutes later her13 year old daughter arrived, clearly in a bad mood.
She took us to the room that was a basement with a prison cell window (10cmX10cm) and a bed at an attic I could hardly crawl (half a meter from the ceiling). A 200 euro a night room that normally should not be let.
I asked if they have another room and that this is not what we have seen in the hotel.com room description pictures we have booked. With no empathy whatsoever, clearly in a hurry, she said this is your room type and unwillingly answered all other questions we had.
When I called her mother she said she doesn’t know if they have another room and that she is now busy…
We exchanged a couple of messages thereafter and agreed to leave.
At check out we had the other daughter harassing while packing our stuff, to ensure we pay as if we are a thief.
The entire stay felt like a bad dream. As a Greek I felt ashamed that people like this represent our hospitality
