Our group absolutely loved our weekend at the Retro River House! The home is decorated so thoughtfully, and the retro-style kitchen—one of the main reasons we booked—was even better than pictured. There’s plenty of space to spread out or gather together, which worked perfectly for our group. We cooked all of our meals at the house and took a fun day trip to a local farm to pick strawberries.The outdoor area was a highlight for everyone. The kayaks and rope swing were a huge hit, and we really appreciated having plenty of life jackets available.The host went above and beyond—when one of the A/C unit remotes needed batteries, they were delivered quickly, which we truly appreciated.Since we used the kitchen for all our cooking, we were glad to have all of utensils, pots, and pans. One small suggestion would be to add more dinner plates and a couple more or larger cookie sheets. We loved using the retro oven but had to cook in batches.Overall, an amazing stay, thank you for openingyour home!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend this place to anyone and everyone!The house was clean and roomy with a great setup for bringing the family dog; a fenced in area with a shed made into a 'doghouse'.We all LOVED taking the kayaks and canoe out on the Black Water river right behind the house!We give this place 5 stars, for sure!

Awesome property! The host was awesome as well. The life jackets for the kayaks were missing and as soon as she was made aware she made sure we had some. We enjoyed our time at the Retro River House!

Although we did not have a pet with us, it was impressive to see that these owners do think of pets as well as they do of the tenants! The shed if needed had a dog run along with a doggie door and air conditioning! The main house was very comfortable, clean and well supplied as well. Comfortable beds, pillows and amenities. The vintage decor was very impressive, the sun room was very comfortable as well.

the home was very cool/retro. We visited in February. Was a bit chilly when we arrived. The sunroom in this home is awesome, so we spent a lot of time out there. host was very nice and attentive.

The house was awesome as well as the host! Our stay in Milton was to attend my mothers funeral. The property was roomy which allowed us to host family members who attended. It was a short distance to everything. This property was perfect for our needs along with a beautiful view of the Blackwater river.

Amazing! So much room, everything we needed and it felt like home! It was a wonderful way to spend our annual Florida Thanksgiving. The river was great the boys enjoyed being outside on the kayaks and canoe fishing all day. Our dog had plenty of room to run and play he was in heaven. Plenty of room for his kennel at night and when inside. We loved the sunroom the tv in there was huge and seating for everyone. We can't wait to go back! The host was so nice and helpful as well.
