The toilet overflowed with the first flush. The staff didn’t seem concerned that I had to turn off the water and use every towel to stop the room from being flooded. She stated that she would send someone to fix it. After traveling most of the day, I had to insist on getting a new room so my family could shower. We have stayed here every year for more than a decade. Between the aging of the hotel and not so great customer service, it may be time to pick a different hotel for next year.

This is a great location, generally a good price and decent room. Let me also say the breakfast was very well done, compliments. Property is showing it's age in upkeep, no big deal it's just not modern and the carpet in the common areas smells of eras past. It is nice to see in this day and age they have an ATM right next to to elevator, convenient for anyone who comes into the hotel and needs cash. I don't think it's indicicitive of anything else that "could" be going on in the hotel. The big problem, the pool was cold. Like the heater is out totally, it was probably 60 degrees. Awful. The "hot" tub was not much warmer. Like if you drew yourself a nice bath and the water was the temp of the hot tub, you would probably drain half of it and fill it back with straight hot water. I didn't mention it, because I heard multiple other guests complaining and I am assuming the staff is really powerless on this matter, so I spared them. Overall, not a bad property especially if you don't plan on using the pool, and even better if you find that you did not bring enough cash for internal amenities. Oh yes there are two restaurants on site, and breakfast is free.

This property appears to have been nice at one point, but somewhat worn down. Staff seemed geared toward their loyalty program customer, while they put me, as an Expedia booking, right next to the very noisy elevator. Unimpressed with the staff at checkin. Certainly didn’t make me want to become a member of their loyalty program. I won’t rebook.

Good, minus the enormous group in the hot tub

Overall, the stay was enjoyable. The rooms were comfortable and clean. However there was a child having a birthday party in the pool area. Not to be a chils hater, but there was literally 40 people in the pool area for this party. No one in my group could use the pool/hot tub from 3-10, which was quite frustrating. Im sure none of the other hotel guests could use the pool area either, apart from the one group. I understand it was a birthday party. But it was still a bummer

To watch the kids closer . I love coming to destress… and relax .. I usually get a room with the whirlpool tub. But every once awhile I go down to the hotel pool.. it was trashed , bottles in the water , towels everywhere, but no fresh towels. And the hot tub did not work. And it was a sock floating in that water. I just knew someone had allowed their kids in there alone. I don’t want to lose this hotel as my getaway from home .. one because it still close to home and I do have kids at home so if needed I can go home quick in case of emergencies. But also the area and food near by are excellent . And the hotel is nice minus only pork for breakfast.

I had a few issues and Sara at the front desk was absolutely amazing. She was very patient with me and friendly. She made me feel like I was her guest and she did everything to help me feel comfortable during my stay. Sara is definitely an asset to the property.
