Time is of the essence.

It started off on a bad note. I arrived at 6:55 pm. They offer a free dinner and drinks until 7 pm. They wouldn't let me check in until I showed my ID, which I left in the car. By the time I got my ID and went back in, it was 7:02 pm, so they wouldn't give me the free dinner and drinks because it was after 7pm! If they had told me about the deadline, I could have just run out to get the ID and run right back in and made it before 7 pm. They only let me know about the the free dinner after it was too late. Not a great start to my stay. The room was comfortable and average sized. The bed was comfortable too. The street noise was very loud and kept us awake. They charge an extra fee for higher floors where the noise wouldn't be as bad. The location was good with walkable sights to see, near the river walk. I didn't like having to pay for parking ($25 + $3 tax) even though I was a guest. I probably would not stay here again because of the check in experience, but it is a nice hotel.

We liked the safety feature of needing to scan our room key to take the elevator to our room. The service and staff were excellent. The desk staff we very friendly and helpful. We liked that we could store our bags at the front desk while we attended an event. We liked that we had a complimentary small evening buffet and drinks and a complimentary breakfast. Access to the parking was convenient. Overall an excellent experience.

I stayed here a couple times. This time I had a wonderful room, that wasn't on the street, and really quiet. They had a nice breakfast, and really friendly staff. The clerk helped me with the parking app I had to use to leave my car, but the parking cost was higher than what was listed on the website. I'd stay again, nice hotel
