Boujee place. Felt like someone important.

Awesome place to stay if you like being in the city. Only bike parking available. I drove a truck and had to pay quite a bit for parking off property. The restaurants were not great. But the people there were. The staff and guests were friendly. Bar didnt quite have the selection I would of liked. But I did enjoy it.

Enjoyable stay

Comfortable Hotel. Very pleasant stay. Great room with a refreshing and nicely tiled bathroom. That evening prior to going to a Summerfest event I had a delicious Turkey BLT. I also had breakfast the next morning I asked for a waffle with berries on top along with chicken sausage. The server and the kitchen created a perfect breakfast for me. Thank you Iron Horse Hotel for taking such great care of me!

This property is beautiful and has great vibes inside and out. But our room wasn’t ready until about 90 minutes after check in time and that was after checking in it multiple times. We also asked for adjoining rooms which they could not accommodate. Our waitress at the bar outside was very sweet but the food and drinks took a long time. Just seems to not be running great overall. Not sure due to staffing?

Fun hotel near the 3rd Ward

The overall design of the hotel is eclectic and fun. Very well done. My only comment is there is a little deferred maintenance that needs to be done( a cracked sink and window in the bathroom and a little bit of wear and tear. However, everything else was beautifully designed with a cool bar, restaurants, lobby and outdoor patio. Geared towards Harley enthusiasts, it is a great vibe for everyone and walking distance to the Historic 3rd Ward

The valet was sketchy. The guy was asking really personal questions. When we left, my wife couldn't find her laptop. She had left it in the car. Thankfully the manager had located it when she called. It was in the lost abd found, turned in by the valet. We can't prove anything but it was really bizarre. We had the same valet again when we left, before we realized the laptop was gone. He did not say anything to us about finding the laptop and turning it in. We were the only car at the entrance when we pulled in so he would have known it was us in the case that it was "lost". Never staying there again.

The ambiance is great, and the front desk was amazing. However we were switched to a lower grade room, with no explanation. The valet service is terrible, they would take up to 30 minutes to get our vehicle, with no one else waiting for a car and then tell us they had to use the restroom and sorry for inconvenience. Once would be understandable, but 5 times when we requested our vehicle was not appropriate. The service in the outdoor patio area was not great. They were friendly, but also would disappear and no one was there. We waited nearly 25 minutes to be greeted after being sat near the fireplace area. We were hopeful that we would really like this place as we frequently will be in Milwaukee, however not even sure we would recommend a stay here.

Hotel room bathrooms were dirty. Toenail clippings on floor and only half roll of toilet paper available. Had to call twice over eight hours to get toilet paper.
