Conveniently placed hotel

Pros: The very warm welcome and willingness to do anything to help us. Breakfasts terrific. Standard of meals very high - beautifully cooked and presented.
Cons: Standard of decoration upstairs was tired, but I know there is a plan to redecorate. The room and ensuite could have been cleaner.
Location: Variety of shops - for browsing and shopping. Well equipped recreation ground. Pubs. Beautiful Exmoor, Porlock Weir, Lynton& Lynmouth .
It was great to be so accessible to the local shops and facilities, but within easy reach of surrounding places of interest and spectacular scenery. We enjoyed coming back to spend the evening relaxing with good food and wine/good selection of beers.
