Bonfire Shores offers private lake front access, sand beach entry, a hot tub, kayaks and paddle boards. Mornings can be spent on the deck and evenings spent around the campfire just steps from the water. This beautifully decorated tiny home is perfect for couples, families, and individuals seeking fun in the sun, time in nature, a quiet cozy getaway or easy access to Mineola and Canton.

Peaceful Getaway

I loved the location of the cabin and access to the water. The cabin was roomy and served most of our needs. I would stay again. I would make the following recommendations...sweep the outside of the cabin...it had A LOT of cobwebs. I would also stock just a couple of other items in the kitchen that would have been most helpful...namely foil and a bit of cooking oil. Maybe some small packets of sugar for the coffee. Thank you for the opportunity to offer feedback.

Annual June Vacation with Each Other

Everything was perfect. We wish we didnt have to leave! Host was kind and accomidating. We love to travel around Texas and beat the heat in most of our activities. The water was nice to fish and the a/c was a joy to come into. This place is highly recommended for others looking to get away and spend time with your spouse. (And bring the small children if you want them to experience serenity away from the big city.) Very relaxing.

Great Tiny House

The place was immaculate! We had everything that we needed. The fishing was dismal. You really need a boat to catch fish on this lake otherwise we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Also this place is close to Walmart and restaurants which is a plus!

Great get-away to watch the eclipse

My wife, son who is soon to graduate from college and I flew from Montana to Texas for the total eclipse on April 8th 2024. We wanted a nice place away from the busy Dallas area. We were very pleased with our stay. The "Tiny House" was very comfortable, well furnished, stocked with coffee and other goodies and overall a perfect spot for our few days of retreat. We enjoyed the beach and Kayaks and the relaxed lake life very much. And we got to see the entire eclipse event with a few clouds at times but nothing to complain about! Highly recommended.

This tiny house did not disappoint! It is clean and cozy and comfortable. My husband enjoyed a bit of fishing while I lounged in the hammock. The view is of the lake morning, noon and night was so soothing. I would love to come here again in the future.

Weekend getaway

We were looking for a nice and quiet weekend getaway to escape the hustle and bustle of our everyday life. I wanted quiet and my husband wanted to fish. THIS was PERFECT! Absolutely PERFECT!
