Conveniently located just an 8-mile drive to visit the town of Blue Ridge or a 9.5 mile drive to the quaint town of McCaysville. Explore the Chattahoochee National Forest, or just relax on the porch with a cold drink in your hand.

Step inside the cabin, where you're greeted by hardwood flooring, pine walls, vaulted tongue-and-groove ceilings, and rustic furnishings that create a sense of being on a true Blue Ridge Mountains escape. The warm glow from the stone gas fireplace in the living room invites you to kick back on the leather furniture and reconnect with your loved ones during your downtime.



All of your entertainment needs are met at the cabin. From playing Foosball in the game room to watching your favorite shows on flat-screen TVs, or just using the free WiFi to surf the net, you'll never lack for things to do during your stay.



After preparing a meal in the fully equipped kitchen that offers gleaming granite counters and a gas stove, it's a pleasure to eat in the dining room. The dining table seats 8 and there's room for 2 additional guests at the bar area.

The Location



When you're not hanging out at your home-away-from-home, take a short drive to check out the quaint town of Blue Ridge. Located 8 miles from the cabin, 'Georgia's favorite small mountain town' offers tons of art galleries, boutiques, restaurants, craft breweries, and historical attractions.



9.5 Miles away is also the quaint town of McCaysville. The GA-Tenn line runs right through the middle of town, even through the middle of some of the shops! Visit Pic-N-Vine where you can make your own basket out of Kudzu vine. Or check out some of the wonderful eateries. There is also a small Grocery store in this town useful for stocking up the kitchen back at WoodHaven.



Any wine aficionados will be in heaven during their stay at in Mineral Bluff! Wineries abound in the area, including Bear Claw Vineyards and Serenberry Vineyards, which are both about 20 minutes away from the cabin.



Don't miss out on the opportunity to take a train trip on the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway! Learn all about the history of the area while witnessing unforgettable vistas on the 4-hour train trip that winds along the Toccoa River.

If you prefer aquatic activities to dry land, drive 7 miles to Lake Blue Ridge for an exciting or relaxing day out on the water! Rent a boat to go tubing or water skiing, paddle on the lake with a kayak, or try to reel in some trout.



Is lady luck on your side? Find out at Harrah's Cherokee Valley River Casino located about 40 minutes away in Murphy, North Carolina! This popular casino offers 50,000 feet of gaming, including 1,000 slot machines.



If you have never seen Rock City, we highly recommend making the drive to Chattanooga. Visiting Rock City and Ruby Falls makes for a wonderful family day trip!

We are a family of 4 that lives in the Tampa, FL area. In June of 2020 we took a vacation and rented a friend's cabin and absolutely fell in love with the mountain lifestyle and this area of Ga. So much so that we decided to purchase a cabin and share that cabin with the world.

Hot Tub, Creek, Smart Home Features



House is equipped with Smart Home features powered by Google Home. Guests are able to control many lights throughout the home as well as the temperature on the thermostat with a guick command from their voice! Additionally we have a printed and online guidebook for your convenience and pleasure.

After looking at tons of properties, this one just felt right. We love the sounds of the creek that runs at the base of the property and provides just the right amount of ambient background noise to make you forget about your worries and get into relaxation mode. Also we love the hot tub area. Lots of other cabins the Hot tub just feels like an after thought. At this property it seems as if it was designed around the hot tub. Once again the key feature of this property is rest and relaxation!



Also a lot of the cabins we looked at were much further removed from society. This one while peaceful and secluded is less than 8 miles from Blue Ridge and also close to our favorite little town of McCaysville, Ga. Also within an hour drive is access to so many wonderful nature parks with wooded trails and waterfalls. The whole area is a great escape from the daily grind.

Downtown Blue Ridge is about 15mins in one direction, and the quaint little town of McCaysville, GA (Sister City to CopperHill, TN) is about 15mins in the other direction.

This cabin offers its guests barbecue grills, an arcade/game room, and a garden. The front desk is open around the clock.
