Very disappointing renting the king suite room...and absolutely no help with a refund due to the poor room condition.
Walked into the room and the blinds were down and it was right near the interstate and i swore the windows were open. Nope that is how loud that room is. I took a video of the noise coming in...no real person would be able to sleep listening to that. Expedia even called right after we checked out and talked to the girl at front desk and she confirmed the room was loud as well.
Went down to front desk and asked if we could switch rooms, willing to downgrade to a queen bed as long as it was quieter, she said they were booked. Went back up to the room and my husband and i decided to check out as there was no way we could have slept in there.
I have reached out to Expedia help with a refund with no success as they apparently called the manager, even though i did check in and didnt cancel anything but the manager still said nope no refund rate but yet the hotel did not provide a room that was realistic to stay in due to the noise.
So I lose out on $$ because the hotel doesn't want to state anywhere on this booking that the room is noisy and take your money and tell you too bad.
I have reached out to Wyndham direct as well and no help.
Very disappointing to lose out on money and scramble to find another hotel because they dont properly advertise there rooms.
