Great historic building with a modern flare. The ceilings on the 6th floor are ridiculously high and amazing! Walking distance to Mill Park and the stadium. Parking was in a connected garage with elevator access.

We really enjoyed the Canopy for its incredible wood beams, architecture in general, the restaurants on site and where it’s located in Minneapolis! However, the room service closed an hour earlier than listed on our wedding night, they didn’t know any of their gluten free options and flat out lied to us about there not being a couch in their online photos of the room. The couch was then brought into our room but it was aggravating to deal with. I probably won’t stay here again but for someone coming in from out of town I’m sure it’s lovely!

Room is beautiful, however they don’t have the pool or spa area open, it’s under construction, this is the only reason I chose this hotel. They said sorry it’s under construction now, even though the pictures online show the pool. Also read reviews they charge for the spa pool anyways extra, I went to watershed instead to be able to sit in a pool. Also parking is about 50 bucks per day in the hotel it’s not included and they’re stingy with the valdation passes even though you pay 50 dollars a day. They would only give me three when I checked in, you need one everytime you leave the garage and I was staying for four nights, had to keep going to the desk for more, if you’re paying an arm and a leg for parking idk why they do that, the guy when I checked said this is all I have sorry and everytime after they would only give me a couple, not even worth the hassle here.

This property was very entertaining and clean. Very beautiful on the inside. I loved the live music at the restaurant. The only thing I did not like was the hotel closing their pool last minute due to construction. That was the main reason booking the hotel.

The one thing that was odd was the coffee machine only allowed you to make 1-3 oz of coffee. Had to push the brew button three times to get a small amount of coffee in the mug. The machine was designed for expresso and not a cup of coffee.
