Rooms are nothing special. Thin walls. We were on ground floor. No parking so you need to use the ramp and walk outside. Also parking is $10-20 a day. I would recommend staying in the 6th floor. Much nicer rooms and quieter.

The breakfast menu was ok, it was pretty standard. The bar area is always really nice. It was very busy on Friday night, but closed down at 11:30pm. Our group would have definitely closed down the bar if it had stayed open. Our room was big and spacious, but we only had access to one closet that was SUPER small even though it looked like we had 3 closets, the other 2 were closed off. The heat was either FULL BLAST and like a sauna or it was non existent and chilly. There was NO in between. Same for the shower, it was either scalding hot or cold, no in between. There were police sirens all night and beeping street lights we could hear from our room, so maybe I should've brought ear plugs. We've stayed here before and I don't remember that ever being an issue. The elevator takes forever. It also sucks carrying luggage all the way up the front stairs. We should've checked in first and then used the side entrance. Otherwise we love staying here. It's a beautiful hotel and we'll probably stay again.

The staff were lovely and made check-in so easy and quick, especially since I was really cold and needed to get to my room ASAP. The room itself was lovely and spacious with a very comfortable bed. I thought I'd be OK with the heat turned off, but I'm glad I turned it on because the room is much better toasty! Everything in the room is super clean and organized -- no notes.

We got to check in early, with an upgraded room at no extra cost. The room was clean and spacious with just the basic functional furniture to meet the needs of a traveler. Parking is in a parking garage next door, not owned by the hotel. The hotel is conventiently located to local attractions. Breakfast had a fair amount to offer but the cooked foods were not very hot. For a city hotel, the room was quiet and shades and blackout shades helped. This is an historic building repurposed into a hotel, so it has a lot of interesting architectural features and art.

Room was very clean, bed comfortable, view of the capital was amazing (6th floor fireplace king room). Parking convenient in ramp just around the corner. Bar was great with a full house after a show next door, really fun and lively. Breakfast in the chapel is a great perk.

This is a great hotel! Check-in was easy, the room was clean, wonderful location for activities in downtown St. Paul. The hotel is unique in having once been a convent and music conservatory and they carry the theme throughout the property. We have stayed here before and will definitely be back.

Food has bad , room was extremely hot up to 2 am after that was no heat so... cold .i ordered drinks for me and my fife and after 20 minutes i walk bach for drinks ... bartender said he missed my order after payment was done ... Honestly we did had a bad experience

We have stayed at the Celeste hotel multiple times. The rooms are always clean and the front desk staff is very helpful. They have a super cute bar that is usually hopping.
