Welcome to Club 139, a beautifully remodeled 1958 mid-century home located in the Shadow Falls neighborhood of St. Paul, arguably one of the most desirable locations in the Twin Cities. Here you are two blocks away from Town and Country Club and historic Summit Avenue, and very close to several colleges and universities (University of St. Thomas, Macalester College, University of St. Catherine, Hamline University, Mitchell-Hamline School of Law. Just steps away from the Mississippi River, 10 minutes to downtown Minneapolis, and 15 minutes to MSP International Airport.

Club 139 will comfortably accommodate up to six adults (no children, please). There are three large bedrooms (one with twin beds), two full baths and a half bath. The gourmet kitchen is Martha Stewart quality -- five-burner Wolf stove, Meile double ovens, Sub-Zero refrigerator, wine cooler, prep island, entertaining island, large dining area and all necessary kitchen appliances and utensils.
The open floor plan is perfect for friends to gather and socialize -- sit at the island/bar, relax on the sofa, or grab some snacks and popcorn and move to the comfortable furnishings of the lower level to take in a movie on the 65” smart TV.

While the kitchen area is akin to Martha Stewart, the outdoor living is more Dean Martin. The 12x28-foot elevated deck has a shaded table and chairs, and a Char-Broil commercial gas grill, perfect for enjoying outdoor cooking and entertaining. The lower garden-level patio has luxurious outdoor furniture and a mesmerizing flame table. The backyard in beautifully landscaped and very private.

Club 139 is a new VRBO property, since November 2019. With a commitment to providing a fun, safe and comfortable stay. You will enjoy new carpeting, new furnishings, new towels and linens and complimentary toiletries. The property features keyless entry, high-speed wi-fi, and has enough off-street parking to accommodate 3 or more cars. Very safe location.

Prime location for college graduations

The house was perfect for our needs and our only issue is wet and cold weather kept us from enjoying the outside space. But the weather didn't stop the turkey who kept visiting the backyard. My wife, son and nephew came to town for our daughter's graduation from the U. Even if I-94 in Minneapolis wasn't under major construction, the house's location was perfect and a scenic, 10-15 minute drive along the river to campus. And an even shorter drive to the colleges in St. Paul. Not sure when the house was renovated but it clearly was done to make entertaining easy for hosts and comfortable for guests. We had a small celebration with in town family that made a family celebration an experience we will always remember.

This was a good base of operations for our daughter's graduation. Lots of room and good outdoor space. The property was well supplied and clean overall -- on arrival, some dishes were left next to the sink that weren't clean. Check in was easy and the host was available to answer our questions. Before checking out we had to wait for the dishwasher cycle to get done so that we could empty it before check out. That took a long time. Great neighborhood and location!

An unfortunate change in plans days before our short stay in Minnesota for a memorial service left us scrambling for a property that could accommodate our family and plans.... but the good fortune of finding Michael's home turned out to be a blessing in disguise. The home was perfect, location convenient in a quiet neighborhood, well stocked kitchen. But the highlight of our stay was Michael. We arrived on Thanksgiving on a red eye and he graciously accommodated our early check in request. And without our asking, offered to stock our refrigerator with any essentials we needed, knowing that finding an open grocery store would be difficult on the holiday. Without exaggeration, this was the best customer service I've received on any vacation. If our travels bring us back to Minnesota, we will not hesitate to book this property again.

Perfect Week's Stay for Family of 6

The house on Otis Ave in St. Paul was in a beautiful neighborhood with 3 bedrooms. There was plenty of room for all 6 of us. We even had 11 for dinner. We were there for a Macalester graduation. The kitchen family room plus a living room allowed us to spread out. You are just a block from the river which everyone enjoyed walking to. Thanks to Michael for providing us such a perfect house in a glorious setting.

We loved the house, yard and location. The house had everything we needed. Just when you think it’s not there, just open another cupboard. Lol. Exceptional property

This home is spacious, beautifully furnished with exceptional outdoor space. We had everything we could possibly need in terms of kitchen and other supplies. Parking available for three spaces off street and ample on street parking. It is located in a quiet neighborhood filled with beautifully maintained large mid-century homes. Grocery and other big name stores are an easy 5 minute drive. Biking and walking is safe and scenic in this area of St Paul. Michael was prompt and helpful in all communication. Overall, my experience was exceptional.

Had everything we needed!

Two friends and I came for a girls shopping weekend. We enjoyed all the room and comfy beds. The location was perfect. We grilled the first night and enjoyed the deck, the beautiful yard, and tomatoes picked from the garden. We were welcome to use spices or anything else we needed in the fridge or cupboards. The flowers and wine were a nice touch. We didn’t see the 2 bikes listed and were going to call but then it rained and there was no need. All in all, we had a nice experience.
