Heart of NE Arts District | 4BR | Deck + Skylights

The Northeast Arts District is the most exciting neighborhood in Minneapolis — and this beautifully remodeled 4-bedroom home puts you two blocks from the middle of it. James Beard–winning restaurants, acclaimed coffee shops, world-class breweries, and one-of-a-kind galleries are all within easy walking distance. Come home to a spacious, sun-filled house with a private deck, a big backyard, and room for everyone to spread out.

This airy, well-appointed home was thoughtfully remodeled and is ready for your group to feel right at home. The main level is open and inviting — a large kitchen with a massive island sits at the center, with a dining area and living room flowing naturally off it. The living room is anchored by a large, comfortable sectional sofa and a smart TV; the kitchen opens through French doors onto a sunny private deck and fully fenced backyard. It`s a great layout for groups that want to cook together, hang out together, or just do their own thing without feeling cramped.

You`re staying in the heart of the Northeast Arts District — by most accounts, the most vibrant and distinctive neighborhood in Minneapolis. Within two blocks or a short walk, you`ll find a remarkable concentration of acclaimed restaurants, neighborhood bars, breweries, coffee shops, and galleries.

On the food side alone, the neighborhood is home to half a dozen restaurants helmed by James Beard Award winners and nominees. Northeast Minneapolis has become a national epicenter for Hmong and Vietnamese cuisine — chefs like Yia Vang (Vinai), Christina Nguyen (Hai Hai), and Diane Moua (Diane`s Place) are doing some of their best work here. Add Minari, Mestiizo, Gustavo Romero`s Beard-nominated Oro by Nixta, and spots like All Saints, Centro, and The Northeast Social, and you could eat differently every night for a week without leaving the neighborhood.

For breweries, Bauhaus Brew Labs and Indeed Brewing are neighborhood anchors. For coffee, The Briar (just a few blocks away) is a perfect all-day café with great food and cocktails, too.

On the first Thursday of each month, the neighborhood`s art spaces — Northrup King, Casket Arts, Thorpe Building, Solar Arts — open their studios to the public. The Ritz Theater is steps away. The Walker Art Center, Guthrie, and Minneapolis Institute of Art are a short drive.

We`ll send you a full neighborhood guide after booking — it`s a long list and it`s all good.

Great communication from the host, interesting part of town, darling house with plenty of space. We appreciated the coffee, plenty of hangers, games, and good towels.

This is a great house for a family or group of friends. We found the house to be very clean, stocked with all necessary items plus. The host, Peter; is a great communicator and very nice. The location is close to great restaurants next to the Mississippi River, grocery stores and the art district. We’ll definitely be coming back to stay.
