Summer Vacation

Perfect apartment for a family. Beautiful scenery and a perfect swimming-pool area. A lot of possibilities for hiking and biking in the area. Not so many restaurants around, so we used the nice grill that is available in the garden for a couple of our evening meals.

Een super appartement, veel ruimte, een balkon zowel als tuin waar je kunt zitten. Alles schoon en goed onderhouden, ook het zwembad is aardig groot en alles aanwezig, inclusief toilet en douche. Prachtig uitzicht waar we ook heen keken. Enige minpunt is de gehorigheid zodat je soms wat last hebt van je buren.

Lækker pool, pæne værelser og ro

Vi blev modtaget at de sødeste værter, som var det hvis vi havde spørgsmål (på italiensk ,-). Meget pænt og fredfyldt, med et lækkert velholdt pool område. De nærliggende vandreruter var noget tilgroede men vi have en skøn tur på 4 timer op til Orto di Donna. Forvent ikke at man kan handle uden en køretur på 20 min i bil.

This is a great place to ...

This is a great place to stay if you want peace and quiet. The apartment is clean, well equiped and the only complaint that we've had is that the double bed is not really comfortable (the single beds are perfect). I've spent a week here with my brother and my sister-in-law, they've never visited Tuscany, but they've liked the area so much, that they were happy to stay here and not drive around too much. The swimming pool is clean and we've spent most of our time around it. Katia, who organised everything for us, even a visit to the hospital, is running the cosmetic studio on the property. She does fantastic Ayurveda massages, and I've enjoyed being able to go and have a few treats. Close-by there is a small supermarket and a few restaurants in the vicinity. If you want to relax and get away from it all, this is the place to be. I am planning to go again, a lovely place to relax.

Fantastisk dejlig sted oppe i bjergene.

Vi ankom til et paradis, vi fik en varm velkomst og uden problemer fik vi adgang til boligen 2 timer før aftalt, det betød meget for os da vi havde 3 små hund med og havde kørt i 24 timer. Vi var i boligen fra den 6/7 til 18/7 2013. Boligen var skøn, med den mest fantastiske udsigt, der var ro for både krop og sjæl. Vi manglede ikke noget, alt var som det skulle være. Boligen var meget ren og yderst velholdt. Det tog os ca. 20 min. til det nærmeste supermarked som var meget velassorteret og vi kunne købe alt det vi havde brug for og så var det også billigere end de kæmpe store supermarkeder i Aulla eller Lucca. Vi kan kun varmt anbefale boligen og området hvis man søger paradis med ro og fred. Vi kommer helt sikkert tilbage igen. Marianne og Steen Denmark

"We stayed at Miravalle H...

"We stayed at Miravalle House Holidays for 2 weeks in August 2012. Initially, we have chosen this location to take advantage of the sunny Toscany weather, the large swimming pool of the residence and the hike opportunities in the “Alpi Apuane” and “il parco dell’orecchiella”. On these, our expectations were fully met. We also appreciated very much : the non sultry temperature thanks to the altitude, the jacuzzi aside the swimming pool (perfect for our 1 year daughter), the very friendly and discrete owners (with a high sense of service), the area, not crowded with tourists and the contact with the local Italian people Regarding the residence, the pictures are well representatives. Our apartment was also incredibly clean and decorated with taste (high quality of the furniture). Sermezzana is around 1h/2h drive from the Mediterranean beach, the Cinqueterre, Lucca or Pisa which mean that you can visit them in a day. The cherry on the cake of our 2 weeks stay was the professional and price competitive massages offer in the residence (very nice after a long hike …. or even a quiet day ;-) "

"Nous recommandons cette location pour de superbes vacances au milieu de la nature, dans un appartement impeccable en tous points (propreté, vue, équipement, superficie, ...) La piscine est super. Les hotes sont agréables, prévenants et soigneux. Surtout, ne manquez pas les soins beauté de Katia à prix très abordable. Un seul bémol : les durées de trajets pour aller à la plage ou à Florence, à Lucca, aux cinque terre, ..."

"The house is placed on a hillside with a wonderful view over the valley and the surrounding mountains (even when swimming in the pool). A super appartment - large, clean and very comfortable and cosy. We experienced the most relaxing and peaceful vacation ever, in the most wonderful surroundings. At first we thought that the position was a little remote, but it turned out to be a great opportunity to discover the real Italian cuisine and the Italian language :o) The couple who run the place are VERY frindly, and do a great effort to ensure that their guests have a plesant stay (in a discrete way). We enjoyed our stay very much, and would not hesitate to plan another vacation in Casa Vacanze Miravalle."
