AWESOME CONDO IN TOPS'L SUMMIT BETWEEN BEACH AND RACQUET CLUB - GREAT VIEWS!

Well appointed and equipped for all travelers. If you want excitement & activity, there is so much: swimming in the crystal clear Gulf or the beautiful Summit pool and hot tub, putt-putt golf, basketball, nature trails, etc. In addition. the building to the right-front of ours offers pay-to-play pickle ball courts - you would need to scan the QR code in front of the courts (right by the putt-putt area) to get the price and instructions for obtaining the code to enter. Or you have access on the beach to rent paddle boards, kayaks, and jet skis; book a deep sea fishing trip; Baytowne Wharf; shopping at the outlet mall or Grand Boulevard, etc.

If it is peace and quiet you want, you can have that too as this unit overlooks the Topsail Hill Nature Preserve. King size bed in Primary bedroom with emerald water view. Guest room has 2 FULL (not Queen) beds.

Why do you come to this part of Florida? To see that emerald water and sugar white sand, of course! This unit has that and more. From the balcony you view the pristine Topsail Hill Nature Preserve and gorgeous Gulf of Mexico. From the front, you can even see the fireworks from Baytowne Wharf and views of the Bay. 3 elevators make this very accessible and the walk to the beach is very short (approximately 300 yards with no road to cross.)

Silver Sands Outlet Mall (less than 2 mi.)

Big Kahuna's Water Slides in Destin (less than 10 mi.)

Baytowne Wharf (less than 1 mi. - inside the Sandestin resort - free entrance and free parking.)

Shops at Grand Boulevard (less than 1 mi.) This is where our favorite Publix is located as well as Pottery Barn, Lilly Pulitzer, Altar'd State, Tommy Bahama, etc. and some small boutiques and restaurants such as P.F. Changs, Cantina Laredo, Flemings Steakhouse, etc. We love Broken Egg Cafe for breakfast or brunch.

Bijoux Destin - just next door at entrance to Sandestin

Topsail Hill Nature Preserve (Entrance is about 2 mi. away on 30-A) This is a 1640 acre nature preserve which offers a wide variety of natural resources including 3.2 miles of secluded, white sand beaches with majestic dunes over 25 feet tall. Three rare coastal dune lakes provide excellent freshwater fishing. (The only other locations in the world for coastal dune lakes are Australia and New Zealand!) Boats are not allowed but you can fish from the shoreline for bass, bream, panfish, and catfish. Lakes, pristine beaches, old-growth long leaf pines, sand pine scrub, and a variety of wetlands offer a bird-watching and hiking paradise. NOTE: There are signs for alligators, bears, and snakes, so please be aware.

Beach Bliss

The condo was spacious and had everything we needed. The kitchen had everything anyone could possibly need to cook meals there. The beach cart was so appreciated with 4 beach chairs. My family played putt putt several evenings and everything needed was provided. My family of 4 could not have asked for a better place to stay. We will be back!!

Beautiful View

This was our first stay in the panhandle in a high-rise condo setting. The location of this building borders the Tops'l Nature Preserve so it is very quiet and private. The view facing east from the balcony of our 7th floor unit provided great sunrises, and you can also catch even better sunsets from the west facing walkway to the front door. The unit was very clean and well appointed, including sharp knives and quality cookware. We used the outdoor community gas grills a couple times for our evening meals. The pool adjoining the Summit building was quiet, beautiful and never crowded. The walk to the beach was 3/10 of a mile according to my watch. Along with a series of high-rise condos can come some crowded beaches. However, again, because of this complex is located next to the nature preserve, the crowds were all to the west of us and virtually nobody was to the east. We had one unforseen issue with a kitchen cabinet door that had to be dealt with right away and Paula was on it immediately. A handyman showed up the next morning to fix it and although not necessary, we were compensated for the inconvenience. The building has three elevators and we never waited more than 15 seconds for one to become available. Hotel carts are provided for loading and unloading all your luggage, etc. and there are a few shopping carts for hauling groceries from your car to your unit. I would definitely recommend this unit and these hosts for your next stay in the panhandle.

Amazing management and accommodations

We’ve stayed in the summit condos for the last 4 years every spring break and without a doubt this was the best condo we’ve stayed in out of the 4. The owners were very responsive and very accommodating. We will be booking the same condo going forward as long as it's available.

Beautiful Condo; Great Resort

My wife and I stayed at Tops'l Summit this week and had an amazing time. Condo is well appointed, furniture is nice, and the beds are comfortable! The price was among the best I found for this resort. I missed the door code in my email, and the owners responded in seconds via phone to get us into the unit. Unit was spotless clean!

Wonderful Condo Stay!

This is a beautiful and very clean condo. We came for our annual vacation to the beach. The communication was perfect and we had no issues. The king size bed was extremely comfortable! We enjoyed the pools, used the tram service at times to get to the beach and back, and enjoyed the beach chairs from the condo. We would love to stay again!

Beach area is no stars

Tops'l property is great but in 24 years Tops'l has gone through a lot of changes especially in the beach area. Dolphin Beach Service and Tops'l seem to be rental chair partners. Tops'l has also made it very clear to it's owners they have no beach rights. Tops'l segregates the beach area allowing only 15%-20% for quests who bring personal beach chairs while the rental chair area with mostly empty chairs is divided 35% for owners only and 35% for guests and owners only. The remainder is for owners who bring personal chairs. Having a relative small beach area to share with The Tides, Beach Manor, The Summit and remainder of the resort in years past would at times get crowded. Now Tops'l packs those who don't want rentals into a long walk small spaced area. Our 24 years of memories we will carry to Ft Walton in the future.

The views from the condo were stunning. There is plenty of shopping nearby and nice restaurants. We wish that the pool had been heated and that the pool house had been open. Has been under construction for a very long time. Very friendly people.

Lovely Stay

Great location! About a 3 min walk from condo to beach. Glad condo supplied carts to bring in luggage and groceries. Excellent balcony view of nature preserve with beach in the distance and privacy. We were fortunate to visit during a full moon! Condo is family friendly, great hosts, and well stocked with beach supplies. Will definitely be back!

We had a great time staying here. Our kids were easy to keep busy with the many activity offerings and the space was clean and comfortable. Perfect location

I booked this location not only for its amenities but because it was at the end of the “strip” nearest to the state park. I could not be more pleased with the vibe of this place. It was a very relaxing vacation and would recommend wholeheartedly to anyone looking to vacation here.

The property exceeds the great review scores!

We had a fantastic stay at the condo. The condo was stocked well beyond the normal...from the kitchen and bathroom to beach gear. We were able to enjoy many beautiful Destin sunrises from the bed in the master bedroom or from the balcony. We grilled burgers downstairs and relaxed by the pool/hot tub. The beach was less than a 5 minute walk so we popped back and forth between the beach and condo throughout the day. Paula is a great communicator, was quick to respond to any of our questions, and was very accommodating to our requests. It's rare to have a rental with such great reviews and high average score. In many ways on our trip, Paula went above and beyond, demonstrating these scores are well deserved. We would definitely stay again!

The condo is beautiful, fully equipped with everything you need during your stay. It was so nice having the feeling of "home" during a vacation It was that comfortable for us. Fabulous Location and View

The view was amazing! You can see nothing but nature preserve and ocean and lovely storms rolling in from ocean. The walk to beach is short. Groceries close. Far enough away from Destin traffic that you aren’t stuck in it going to store but close enough that you can go to Destin restaurants if you want. Pools were good (not fabulous, but good enough). Beach was clean and plenty of room (unlike crowded and dirty san destin next door). Kitchen fully stocked. Would highly recommend.

Very easy check in process, grounds are safe and beautiful. The unit we rented was completely stocked with basic needs. This unit offered beach chairs, unlike others. We love the location and how the beach is almost completely empty on one side. So even during peak season you don't feel too close to others.
