Our first time as snowbirds. Unfortunately something went wrong every week. When we arrived the heat didn't work. It was 32 degrees. The pots and pans were scratched making them unusable. The blender was missing the blades. The grill had to be replaced. The refrigerator stopped working. The garbage disposal backed up. The last straw was a major water leak in the kitchen causing flooding up to our ankles. The water went under all the cabinets, under the stove and out to the front porch. While the property management team were responsive during our stay with all the issues they have not responded to our request for compensation. We left the property 2 days early as we no longer felt comfortable using the stove or remaining in the unit. I would advise any future tenant to BEWARE. I doubt they will replace the cabinets and the place will be full of mold. And I doubt they will fix the heat situation either. One of the many contractors that came by said it would be very costly to fix. The space heater the finally brought to us helped but was not sufficient for the whole area. The repeated disruptions, service calls and visits significantly impacted what was to be a month long vacation. While we understand things happen beyond control and they tried to make it right this was excessive. We do not feel our compensation request is unreasonable it has been crickets, no response from anyone. Buyer beware, especially if you have health issues.
