Dom w Gajowce – Izera Mountains

Dom w Gajówce is a beautifully restored 300 year old house nestled in the peaceful village of Gajówka in the Izera Foothills. Surrounded by forests, meadows and views of the Izera Mountains, it offers an authentic atmosphere where time slows down. Perfect for families and groups of friends, it combines historic charm with modern comfort, creating an ideal place to relax close to nature.



The Space:

Dom w Gajówce is a spacious year round house of approximately 150 m², comfortably accommodating up to 8 guests. Carefully restored while preserving its original character, the house combines natural stone, brick and timber to create warm, welcoming interiors full of history and charm.



Guests will find three comfortable bedrooms, a spacious living room with a high ceiling, fireplace and large dining table, as well as a fully equipped kitchen with an oven, refrigerator, coffee machine, kettle and toaster. The house also includes a comfortable bathroom, a children's play area with toys and games, reliable WiFi and a dedicated workspace for remote working.



Instead of a TV, you'll find a fireplace, books and the peaceful sounds of the surrounding countryside, making it easy to slow down and enjoy the simple pleasures of nature.



Guest Access:

Guests have exclusive access to the entire house and garden throughout their stay. Outside, you'll find a covered dining area, barbecue facilities and a dedicated campfire space, perfect for long evenings surrounded by nature. Private parking is available on site.



Pets are welcome for an additional fee of PLN 100 for a pet for the whole stay. A pack of firewood can be bought directly from our neighbor for PLN 100.



The Neighborhood:

The house is located in the quiet village of Gajówka, surrounded by forests, meadows and the beautiful landscapes of the Izera Foothills. The area is ideal for guests looking to disconnect from the city and spend time outdoors.



Hundreds of kilometres of hiking and cycling trails, including the famous Single Track network, are within easy reach. Nearby attractions include Świeradów Zdrój, Jakuszyce and the historic Czocha, Grodziec and Chojnik Castles, making the house a great base for exploring the region throughout the year.



Getting Around:

The property is easiest to reach by car and offers convenient access to many attractions in the region. Świeradów Zdrój is around 12 km away, Gryfów Śląski 15 km, Jelenia Góra 25 km and Szklarska Poręba 29 km. Guests travelling by train can arrive at Rębiszów station, located approximately 2 km from the house, followed by a scenic walk through the forest and the village.
