Tranquil Sakura River views

Very friendly staff, great buffet breakfast (I still can’t believe the amount of choices and quality … such a great way to start the day). Double bed was big enough for me and my 12 year old. 5 min walk from train station and we had a view of the Sakura River. I am sure it would be beautiful in Spring! Spring cleaning staff were having lunch in the same dining hall where we have breakfast which is a lovely to see that management treat their staff as well as their guests.

Great breakfast, handy laundry, nice view on the river and situated right in the centre of town. STRICT adherence to such a late 4:00 pm check-in was rather unique to this property though. No flexability and not a friendly smile shown.

日本の大手ビジネスホテルはしっかりしてます。利用者側の品位、民度が…。特に大会がある時の利用者が学生の時。引率の保護者、監督、顧問、コーチ、役職はわかりませんが、勝てば良いではなく、公共の施設での振る舞いも大切だと思いますが…。フロントの女性が部屋まで静かにするように注意しに行ったり…。それは、ホテル側の仕事ではないですよね。ちなみに、大人は22時にフロントでお酒飲みながら大声で会話、非常に不快。子供に手本を示すのが大人では？ 論点がずれましたが、ホテルとしては非常に快適でした。さすが東横インです。

計画は、余裕を持って考えた。

東横インの通常のサービスが受けられた。電車利用の場合、駅から10分程度川沿いを歩くので、大洗鹿島線の場合、本数が少ないので余裕を持って移動を考えた。支線はSuicaが使えないから、キップを購入していないと、降車駅で手間取る事になった。朝食は、美味しく食べられた。禁煙室では無かったので、匂いは気になった。

施設、スタッフ…対応は良いとは思いますが、早朝出発だったのですが立体駐車場に停めていた車のところに行ってもスタッフがおらず、またフロントに戻り説明をしてやっと出てきて操作してくれる…という流れが、残念な気がします。前回も車で行った際、停める時に駐車場スタッフじゃなくフロントの方？だったのか、左右にある入り口への誘導がなく前向きかバックかも迷い、挙げ句もっとハンドル切って下さい！からミラーをぶつけてしまうとなり…運転が下手な人も居るので、その為の誘導なので早めに指示して貰えたらな〜と思いました。利用しやすいのでまた行ってしまいますが。。
