It's a great place to stay if you're attending a wedding in the area. South Coast beaches are only 45mins drive away and there is an abundance of walking trails and waterholes nearby. Having a car is the most convenient way to explore all the villages of the Southern Highlands but The Alfred is within walking distance to shops, cafes and restaurants of Mittagong plus the train station. Southern Highland Taxis and the 05 club are great options too.
