It was late and my family and I had been on the road for 13 hours and we booked the room while driving, once we got there it was super fast, super convenient not a single issue had the keys to our room in less thin 5 minutes!

We were driving all night and couldn’t go any further. Decided to stop here and it was good for the price. Clean. Cold a/c and hot water for the shower. Bed was a little uncomfortable but it was worth the price we paid.

Motel 6 is a very basic, low cost, chain.

Don’t expect any amenities at Motel 6. The rooms are very basic and only stay there if you are very cost-conscious and don’t care about amenities.

Price was right, room was clean, and beds were clean. The staff was excellent, but the place is old. This new ownership is trying to clean it up with newer paint etc. One towel, no coffee, no frig or microwave and rooms are small. 2 queen beds both pushed up against the walls. I would change this to a single bed, probably a California King. Staff needs to make sure there are adequate linens in the rooms,too. owned my own motel for 30+ years. Not up to franchise standards, I suspect but clean and resonably priced.

Not My Favorite But It Works in a Pinch

Just stopped here for a night while on a road trip. There were over a DOZEN spider webs along the tops of the walls in the room. Lots of gnats in the room also when we first entered, which made for an unpleasant dinner. The bed was comfortable though.

I don't know HOW this place has such a high rating

We paid extra for the rooms with a fridge and the fridge was barely cooler than room temperature. One of the toilets took forever to flush and you had to flush repeatedly to get it to flush all the way. The rooms smelled like mildew. One of the keys didn't work.
