Every staff member was absolutely fantastic and gave great advice on what to do in the area, immediately answered requests, and were always smiling. Room was spotless and unique compared to your average hotel experience. 10/10 would recommend every time.

Room is great. My only issue was noise. People walking by in the hall, above us, next to us…..I cannot imagine how it is when the the place is full.

The food was dreadful. I had a savoury pie which was all mash potato and very little meat. And a very small choice so I didn't even bother to stay and try the breakfast. I had a big scrape of paint and plaster off the wall beside the bed. The room was very dark and no light in the shower. A lady would struggle to do her make up in the bathroom as it was so dark in there. I couldn't get the blinds closed enough in the bedroom to stop the bright light outside from the car park omitting an annoying light into the bedroom all night. And the only fridge available was a communal one in the hallway for all the rooms on the second floor to share. No fridge in the room. Very annoying.

They only saving grace was that the staff were really nice. Bed was really uncomfortable. Very firm without any give. Woke up cold in the middle of the night because thermostat automatically dropped. No heat in bathroom. Hot tub was lukewarm. No in room coffee makers or refrigerators- there is a separate community space in second floor with coffee and communal fridge.

The hotel was very clean and comfortable, including the room. Our only qualm was with the lighting. There just wasn’t enough light in the room or the bathroom, with these rooms being “cabin style”. There was also no fridge in the room, but there was one in the hallway that everyone could use.
