Poor choice to be recommended by hotel .com

The floor was sticky to walk on, coffee machine not working,holes in wall stove and fridge dirty and outdated, stayed two nights and no one even cam in to change towels, and when got back late no parking available and told to park on street I am shocked that hotels.com would even suggest this dump eve hall ways and Lobby is dirty and I am still cracking

The bedding felt great, and the mattress was most comfortable. The bedroom was clean. I am giving such a low score because the kitchen was from another world: upholstered chairs so dirty, I had to cover the seat with something clean before sitting down. There were broken knobs on the stove, an electrical outlet that made me concerned, basically a severely neglected space.

The room was outdated and smelled musty. The carpet had visible stains, and the bathroom had mold in the shower grout. The air conditioning unit rattled loudly all night, making it impossible to sleep.The pool was filthy was scared to get some kind of infection from the water, the beds were worn out , i wont be booking this place again. Do yourself a favor look elsewhere

The rooms are dirty, the bedsheets and comforter are washed, but they're dirty. the price is the same as 3-star hotels, but the service is 1 star. I don't recommend this hotel to anyone.

The property was dirty. Entrance doors broken. Requested ground floor due to disability and was put on a raised first floor had to climb for stairs. No help with luggage. Shower makes you feel like you are going to fall. The complimentary breakfast consisted of either cereal or toast. The raised cost for high tourist travel cannot be justified with the quality of food and cleanliness of hotel.

Poor service

“Poor customer Service’” Been calling, but not answering and ignoring phone calls. Old, not a clean place. Too much garbage outside. Free breakfast, but limited food supply. Running out of coffee, milk or bread. Waiting too long for someone to assist, clean and replenish. Room door, lock not working properly, loose door. Swimming pool smells rotten.

Thriftlodge lives up to its name, thrifty.

The check in was great, the room was okay, no towel change or housekeeping. Hallway was very dirty. Showers are very low so no tall people should stay. Breakfast was definitely thrifty, toast yogurt and cereal is all to expect, and the counters and cutlery, food and drinks were scattered all around, tripping over other guests. Coffee was always empty. Beds are uncomfortable. The pool building smelled musty. I went into the lobby before they closed at 11am to see if they had first aid supplies as my husband had fell off the dark stairs and cut his head on a fan unit at the bottom, but all she could find was a couple of fingertip sized antiseptic cloths and an old triangle support. We tried to dress him up (he was not drinking, just couldn’t see the dark stairs very well). One out of 3 rooms was missing a bed lamp, 1 room had no shower pressure (though ours was good), and the pillows were super thin. My DH did bleed on the pillow case, and though I tried to tell the front desk on checkout, there was no one there to talk to so I just dropped the key off and left. You get what you pay for, though it was the only hotel left that had room for 8 people.

POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE

I called the front desk multiple times in the morning but no one is answering the phone.so I just went at the front desk I asked if I could borrow a flat iron but the guy in there said okay. So I thought they will give it at our room. I returned twice and still didn’t get the flat Iron.and I requested a hot water and I specifically said I will use it to sterilize my baby’s milk bottles. So I brought a tumbler. And When I open the tumbler in our room the water is brownish. So disgusting. Bathtub is full of molds.I know it’s the cheapest that we can find but, its not even worth the money

Patches of unfinished plaster on walls, clogged toilet, pictures on add did not reflect size of room and bathroom. Room was quite small and it looked more like a motel than a hotel.

This property is very old and needs a lot of work. I would never stay here again. Outside and the hallways were very dirty and not cleaned — stains everywhere in the hallway carpets and food wrappers everywhere. Not enough parking for all rooms. In my room, there was a dark stain on one of the bedsheets, the telephone was smashed up and not working, the remote for the television was broken with only a few buttons working and the battery cover broken off. The television was supposed to be 42” but was only about a 32”- quite small for a hotel room. There was a black spot on the toilet seat and rust marks on the floor of the bathtub. Staff are not fluent in the English language and every time you approach them they seem to be “playing stupid”. The pool area has a mouldy smell to it, no towels and the hot tub is covered over with wood. The paint is also bubbling off the walls and ceiling in spots. One door to get out of the building was broken and padlocked closed, leaving us only one door to get outside. The continental breakfast had barely nothing. The other patrons were there all complaining that it was a joke. The ice machine was broken. Upon arrival, a man in the next room asked us if we were actually going to stay there as there was raw sewage backing up into his room and he was more than freaking out very, very angry. It was the worst disaster stay that I ever had . Not worth even half of what I paid to stay here,
