There had been no previous mention of a pet deposit and $100 hold, and the woman at the desk was rude about it at check-in. The electricity went out overnight due to bad weather, and there was no backup power for the exit lights in the hallways (safety hazard). I know it was beyond their control, but it was frustrating not having coffee or breakfast in the morning with no type of refund. Additionally, the toilet in our room also stopped working overnight, and I woke up to the sound of the water running in the tank (my husband fixed it).
