The room was supposed to be a non smoking room but when we walked in that's the first smell. Our pajamas smelled like smoke the next day. There was a dirty towel and wash cloth hanging in the bathroom. The shower curtain was dirty, the toilet was dirty, and the walls were dirty. The blanket on one of the beds had cigarette burns in it, and there was only one pillow on each bed. The door had only one lock on it the other was broke.

The staff was friendly & efficient. The bed was comfortable. I think they are in the process of updating the rooms. There was fresh paint, a big screen TV, and the heat worked great.

The lady a check in didny't say a word. Just gave me my room key. Maybe I scared her? This is the second time in a row I stayed here and the WiFi didn't work, "no signal". Will go elsewhere next time as I need WiFi to file reports.

I am sorry to give this Motel 6 in Monroe only two stars but it spoiled all my previous experiences in other Motel 6.The bedroom was OK - clean, comfortable bed, clean sheets (only the pillows were old and far from comfortable). The walls in the area with the desk were dirty and both chairs were old and with holes on the upholstery. The bathroom was terrible - a hole on the wall, ancient bathtub, dirty walls, no toiletries, no towels (was given towels but had to go to the front desk to ask for them ). Otherwise, both the front desk guy in the evening and the lady in the morning were polite and nice. Sorry but after the conditions in this Motel 6 in Monroe, I do not think, I would stay in any Motel 6 in the future.

Stay was horrible room was for 2 people didn't have enough towels ask for some and was told they would bring some never did.. hotel should up to date remodel rooms and i ended up in a old room bed was hard ..just terrible experience will never stay there again

I checked in after driving 20 hours. I had a different room in Shreveport for $10 which included breakfast but I just couldn't drive anymore. After waiting 45+ minutes for the lady to come out I got my key. It was all the way in the back next to the dumpster which had piles of disgusting mattresses piled everywhere. That's where my mattress and whole room should have been. The site said there's a fridge and microwave ect. This place... Well my room had nothing. There was pee on toilet seat, eyeliner writing on the mirrors, blood on counter next to sink, crumbs EVERYWHERE including all over the bed... A lot. TV was fuzzy floors walls curtains tub everything was filthy. 2 paper thin pillows no clean sheets or blanket. Under the bed had trash, food, old smoked cigarette butts. It was the most horrific this I had ever seen. And I have stayed in 300 different rooms all over the US. I locked myself out and had to get another key. Not all rooms were like mine. I have no idea what I ever did to deserve what I got put in but it was extremely shameful to me and the brand name MOTEL 6.
