Upon arrival, I saw several men hanging out upstairs leaning on the railing and standing around in the parking lot. A couple of the room doors were open. It was evening time. This was not a place of comfort for me and my grandmother. I drove next door and parked in the Mexican Restaurant lot and called the hotel to ask for a reservation cancellation. I was told that since I had reserved via Hotel.com it was nothing they could do. I called Hotel.com several times and got no response. I called several numbers and was disconnected by the automated system. My grandmother and I called our relatives and stayed there for the night.

We stayed 5 nights and it was a comfortable place. I've slept on better beds but for the price they were fine. Front desk people were friendly and very helpful.

We reserved 2 rooms for 3 days which ended up not being next to each other. 1 room the bathroom had not been cleaned, the commode was full and needing to be flushed. The other room had old food in the mini fridge. The night shift desk clerk was extremely nice and helped get rooms as close together as they had available. The day shift desk clerk was very rude. We asked about availability of next door rooms and the response was "its not going to happen" The same clerk at checkout, did not greet us in any way and did not say thank you or anything. This hotel advertises a pool and does not have one.

It was good. Beds were new and clean. Room was clean and motel was close to everything. We stayed for a travel ball tournament. I thought it was a great stay for $70 vs $175 a night.

Just Nasty!!!

This hotel is definitely something that I am not use too....I didn't know that there was a baseball thing going on in Ruston..This was the only hotel that was available...The sink was cracked up...carpet missing..countertop stained...soap scum in shower..empty shampoo in shower..don't even get me started on that microwave....not to mention it wasn't comfortable at all..my family and I left bright and early the next morning..Wyndham should not have there name attached to this!!!
