Stayed for one night with my boyfriend as a stopover between Sutherland and Cape Town, and honestly wish we’d booked two. Despite booking very last minute, Evelyn made us feel welcome as soon as we arrived with a glass of champagne. The property is beautifully curated; every piece of furniture and decor feels intentional, giving the whole place a boutique, high-end atmosphere. We had our own parking space right outside our suite, which was a nice touch. The suite itself genuinely exceeded expectations: four poster bed, in-room sauna, and a jacuzzi bath made it feel like a mini retreat. The infinity pool area is stunning, with loungers and daybeds spread around and panoramic views of the Montagu mountains. We headed into town for dinner on the owners’ recommendation and ended the night with a glass of wine in the bar back at the hotel. The bed was incredibly comfortable; had one of the best sleeps of the trip, and breakfast the next morning was excellent. If we were doing it again, we would definitely stay two nights to make time for the pool and the spa facilities. Highly recommend this place.

Geschmackvoll und boutiquestyle Einrichtung. Sehr nettes Ehepaar und hervorragendes und individuelles Frühstück. Schöne Wellnessbehandlungen und eine gute Assage erhalten. Ruhig gelegen etwas ausserhalb von Montagu. Würden jederzeit wieder dort sein wollen.

Ein Bijou - hidden gem

Wir haben zwei Nächte in der Villa Athos verbracht und waren begeistert. Die ganze Unterkunft ist mit viel Liebe gestaltet und der schöne grosse Garten mit Pool ein Traum zum Verweilen. Evelyne und Randolph sind hervorragende Gastgeber und das Frühstück ist sensationell. Alle Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Ein verlorenes Paradies

Das mit französischen Style eingerichtet luxury Hotel in Montagu hat ein wunderschönes Blick auf die in unzähligen schöne hoche Bergen. Die Gästegeber Randolpf und deine Frau Evelyne sind unglaublich nett und freundlich. Ihr Blumen und Gemüse Garten sind so... schöne. Das Frühstück mit fast alles Haus gemacht frisch Lebensmittel ist Welt Klasse. Die französischen Chanson läuft lm Lounge ist sehr angenehm. Gern kommen wir wieder ins Haus.
