Joia Rose Hall is truly a gem in Montego Bay. The resort is stunning luxurious, and immaculately kept. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcomed and cared for. The rooms are spacious with beautiful ocean views, and every detail felt thoughtfully designed. The food was exceptional, with a great mix of gourmet and local flavors, and the cocktails were top-tier. Whether lounging by the infinity pool or enjoying live music at night, the vibe was the perfect mix of relaxing and vibrant. Can’t wait to come back!

We just returned from a weeklong stay and overall, I really love this place. From the check-in reception to the housekeeping, wait staff were absolutely wonderful especially Travis at the pool bar. He made the week so fun and special.

Some foods request weren’t available. One day I never received my order poolside. They don’t tell you this until you receive the food. The beds were very comfortable. I did have to call twice throughout my stay to receive hand towels after they had service the room. Some of the staff for breakfast was rude. It took 40 minutes to receive room service. Dinner at Port Maria was a tragic. I asked the waitress for water and never received it, after mentioning it to her twice.

If you are on the fence…book it now. This place is paradise and I never wanted to leave. Best vacation I had in a long time. Food is 5 star, staff are so pleasant and accommodating. Everywhere was spotless.

Great property, clean staff was always helpful and attentive. This being adults only I legitimately forgot children existed for a few days - and can’t say I was mad at that lol. Lots of daily and night time activities/events if that’s what you’re looking for beach was well kept as well and not sure if we were lucky but zero sargassum to disrupt the vibes. Food was OK not Great, drinks were really good especially at the lobby bar in the evening - 10/10 fully recommend.

The property is very visually appealing and clean. Even though JOIA itself was somewhat small “small” having access to the other two adjoining properties made up for that. Of the three, JOIA to us had the nicest beach as even though small it had way less of the plagued seaweed that is sweeping across the Caribbean. Staff were courteous and helpful. The Iberostar app needs a little work but overall it added a layer of convenience and organization to our stay. Events were listed clearly on app and throughout the properties. Last point is on the food. Overall, to us nothing was mind blowingly delicious but most everything was decent. Buffets had good selections and offered some traditional foods to Jamaica as well. Definitely would visit again sometime.

The resort was beautifully maintained, and the service was top tier! Every request was handled quickly and efficiently. The food at the restaurants was delicious. I enjoyed the fact that the resort was not overly crowded, and we were able to easily get seats at the pool and beach each day. The bathrooms in the rooms could stand to be updated, but were otherwise clean and functional. A great resort if you are looking for quiet relaxation, we would definitely return!

Lovely, mid sized Caribbean resort. Staff are polite, professional and warm. Our ocean front suite was beautifully laid out and spacious. The balcony was comfortable and peaceful at night. My husband and I just dumped $894 into the ocean. The entrance to the hotel speaks volume. It was not a welcome area. It was mentioned online that this hotel was updated. The bedroom has a horrible smell. I wore mask to sleep. The smell was intoxicating - it is this moldy, musky smell. One of the housekeepers left some room scent to help with the odor. Thanks to her. However I still had to wear mask. We could see plastic bottle and a beer bottle from our porch. The food was horrible. There were not many people at the hotel. We were just coming from another hotel where it was buzzing with people. It is that bad that an employee wants to take a family member to a weekend getaway at a different hotel. I wish I could get my money back. I could not wait to check out and that's exactly what I communicated to the concierge.
