We had a wonderful time at this resort. The food was better than expected, I loved their Big Bamboo drink, and the beach / pool areas were clean & gorgeous to be at. We also enjoyed a massage while there and it was beyond relaxing. I highly recommend this resort, if you don’t mind things being slightly outdated (the rooms)! We had no issues with anything, but the noise levels from the entertainment on site in the evening could be deterring to some. The room was clean. The view from the balcony was unbeatable! The sunsets and sunrises from the balcony were perfect.

The cleanliness was fine - the service of the Serving staff at the buffet was generally very Poor - Proximity to the Ocean is awesome - The Pool was way too loud - The building has not been maintained very well over the last 73 years - the food was average - The staff were friendly except for the staff in dining area - Ms Jackson was very rude

The food was excellent and the staff were great. The place had a great vibe and a nice selection of local cuisine and some American style food for the less adventurous. I definitely recommend the goat curry and the jerk recipes. Breakfast was always a treat. Plenty of alcohol for those who are inclined. The streets outside of the property were kinda run down and crowded. But there’s a great little store across the street. I was able to pick up some cigars. If you like a maduro (dark oily wrapper) try the Blue Mountain Cigar company. They sell them at the store. I can’t remember the name of the store, but it is literally a short two minute walk, very clean inside and they will negotiate prices!

Over all was great however i requested a room on main floor and was first given a room at the far end of the property and up about 20 stairs, im a heart patient that could not work for me so walked all the way back just to walk all the way back to the end of property for a room on main level. It was a far distance for me to walk to the pool or even dinner.

The beaches were clean and nice. The location was great. I could see effort made with the making sure the beaches looks great. The room was a disappointment. The electrical outlets didn't work. The toilet handle had to be jiggled for it to work. The towels were terrible mean using the towel gave me the feeling I might cut myself. This is how rough they were. There were no wash cloth in the bathroom. There was no phone in the room to call the front desk. There was no elevator to the 4th floor. The room needs to be updated to modern standards.

Old, dated, no elevators for those with physically disabilities, no standards for checking in…. Just horrible. Rooms smelled like mold, ants all over the room, air conditioning leaked into closet, resulting in clothes being wet and molded. I HATE THIS PLACE. DO NOT RECOMMEND. RUN. ITS LIKE A RED ROOF IN WITH AN OCEAN VIEW

Right now it is under minute construction which will finish soon. Room clean. You have access to the pool and lots of beach with enough pool seats for those who like the beach. It is in walking distance of Doctor’s cave with a Starbucks right beside. 3 meals a day with a variety. They accommodate my need to be on a main floor due to my knees. I appreciated that. This is my 3rd time to this hotel. I would come back. It is inexpensive compared to other all inclusive. Thank you Karen

I just returned from my birthday vacation and can't say enough about how enjoyable it was! Having been on the property last May 2024, I was impressed when a staff member remembered me during the most recent visit. Her name is Samantha. She is kind and helpful any time I see her! Shout out to her! The other thing I want to note is about the night time entertainment. On Wednesday (my birthday) there was a young group of dancers that included a violinist and they performed with perfection! Through many pieces and multiple costume changes, I was so impressed! Such fabulous talent and showmanship! Can't wait to return!
