Problem at checkin. My prepaid overnight stay has not been sent to property, & U couldnt reach a live agent to sort it out with front desk. I went ahead & paid again for the night. Tell me how to receive refund for the prepaid on line paymebt U made. I have stayed at Tobys many times in the last 14 years or so. Excellebt staff in restaurant & security. Authentic Montego bay

I've stayed in the resorts in Jamaica but when I travel with newbies and want them to see, taste and experiance authentic Jamaica we stay at Toby's . Its central to everything and tours for excursions pick up from the hotel as well. We always have a great time.

The staff were excellent. They try to make your stay safe and memorable. The room have lots of ants and mosquitoes and the bed was too hard. We spent two nights . However from the front desk staff to the cleaning lady and bartender was very pleasant and courteous. The hotel can use some renovations.

First off, the staff of this hotel were among the best I've ever interacted with. They did everything possible to make my stay feel comfortable. The location was very convenient, walking distance to several shops and restaurants, and also a short drive to the airport. The restaurant on site had fantastic and authe mntic Jamaican food, and was reasonably priced. The room, for the price, had fantastic air conditioning and the bed was very comfortable. They also had a convenient shuttle to take me to the airport. It is not a fancy resort, so the condition was not amazing but nothing unsafe or super-unsightly. There was a cockroach in the room, so that didn't sit right with me. The shower was weak pressure and could have used an upgrade. All said, I would stay again for 1 night as a transit stop. Not for long term unless you're on a tight budget.
