Cute and comfortable

Cute place! Recently renovated room that was very comfortable. Very clean and staff was very friendly. It's about 15-20 minutes from Monterey Bay. Free parking. Gas station on property with a mini mart. The lobby office was being renovated. 5 minute drive to the beach. Breakfast is just a granola bar, yogurt and fruit they give you in a lunch bag. Worked out great for what we needed and price was reasonable.

The pictures hide the gas station and the room had hair on the sheets and hair in the bath tub. Floors were dirty as well.

Staff was great and friendly. They were in the process of remodeling the lobby so check-in was out of a back room, but quick and painless. Rooms were clean with the exception of a couple hairs in the bed sheets. As someone who works for a major hotel chain I can tell the sheets were washed so it has to be the laundry service they use leaving hairs behind. Breakfast was a to-go bag of fruit and granola bars and access to a small coffee station. Property is on the same lot as a gas station with a small convenience store. It’s definitely convenient but you also get the noise of cars pulling in and out. Definitely getting what you pay for here but I’d do it again all things considered.
