I'm giving 2 stars because the rooms were updated. The rooms were not cleaned properly. Our shower was clogged so the water did not drain. Floor was dirt and lots of dust everywhere. It's a dog friendly hotel with no where for the dog to use the restroom. Construction material all over the ground around the parking lot. Construction started in the room nextdoor at 7:40am, with loud banging and skill saw. It was not a good way to spend a quiet vacation.

First room that we were put in did have a toilet that functioned correctly. We put the little sign on the door for housekeeping to change our linen the next morning and by 4pm nothing was done. Management put us in another room. It had feces on the restroom door. The TV remote did not have a back on it and a battery fell out and rolled under the bed. At $475 for two nights this place was very bad.

There’s construction currently being done on the property. The room next to us was being worked on . Instead of having peaceful vacation morning , workers showed up nice and early . Conversations, music , and construction noises going on . Drills , hammer , etc. I understand improvements are always in process but at least have common courtesy. Went to the front desk only a find a housekeeper who lets us know if we don’t knock on the door no one comes out . When the gentleman came out of the office we asked about the construction and all we were told the manager was aware of the problem . No real acknowledgment. Not a great way to start a morning while on vacation.

Unfortunately, the room I had wasn’t like the pictures at all. I was expecting a renovated room just like the pictures. The bathroom light would make a loud constant noise when turned on. The toilet wasn’t flushing. You can tell the floor wasn’t swept thoroughly, there were some dirty spots. The water coming from the sink wouldn’t turn off unless you wiggled the handle to a specific spot. Was kind of let down to be honest
