So much old school Victorian charm here! Close to everything- food, entertainment. A two minute stroll to the ocean. Very safe location. I also loved that the heater in the room was quiet and worked great! Would definitely recommend!

Great pet friendly hotel. A bit old, but still nice and comfy. My small dog was welcomed and felt comfortable too. The bottom line is that i intend to come back here again.

It was conveniently located next to a cafe and there’s a parking garage around the corner it’s with in walking distance of most places including the wharf the hotel staff was friendly and helpful the hotel is old but clean

Hotel wax beautiful. Location not so much. Hotel close enough to canary row and acquarium though our room faced a busy street and the noise was annoying. There were blinds on high ceiling. the blinds didn’t really allow for darkness (we only realised that too late to bother changing rooms) luckily we were so tired we were able to sleep.

comfortable, affordable, historic hotel in a great location. room upkeep was a bit neglected including a slow drain, inoperable lamp, and some damaged wood. Staff were friendly and helpful : )

Pretty Darn Good!

It was a nice unique hotel. The staff was wonderful when you stepped into the hotel. It seemed like you were walking into the past of a great classic movie. I have never been welcomed and treated so well upon an arrival at the hotel. The room was quaint, attractive and comfortable. Though I did upgrade the room it was a little smaller than my expectations. I would definitely stay in the same room again did I mention that it was very clean. My wonderful girlfriend is very picky and does the house cleaner test, and it met her expectations. Which is very hard to meet. I was aware of the parking situation before arrival so I was ready for the valet parking. The hotel was very close to restaurants and shopping. Plus the wharf is a short walk away. I had to get my clam chowder in a bread bowl. Brought back great memories from long ago! I can’t wait to stay here again when we visit the area soon

Being able to walk to some shops was convenient. The hotel staff was nice but the water pressure was terrible so showering or even washing our hands was a hassle. The parking situation at this hotel was a nightmare.
