Restored barn in beautiful house with swimming pool, 10 minutes from Siena

Splendid 18th century mansion with typical Sienese architecture. It is situated next to the historical village of Basciano. The house position is ideal because one reaches the Chianti region in a few minutes or can enjoy the culture and convenience of the city of Siena (6 km away).

Restored Barn: this ground floor flat has an entrance with three large glass doors. The main living area has an pellet stove and is divided into a sitting room and a large kitchen. Dining table, wicker armchairs. Sofa bed for one person. From this room there is access to the bedroom which also has a large glass door. The bathroom has an enclosed shower and is covered with a travertine stone. In the veranda with pergola there is a dining table with bench. Barbecue available.

The house is surrounded by a beautiful garden and swimming pool (12mx6m). On the terrace of the swimming pool there is a pergola with table, chairs and deckchairs. Outdoor shower. Private parking inside the property.

In the property there are three independent holiday units (Villa, Guest House and Restored Barn ), recently renovated and fully equipped. Each unit has its own entrance and its private terrace with garden furniture. The pool is reserved exclusively for the guests of the three units.

Location: Siena is located just 10 minutes from the house (6 km), the property is located in the Sienese Chianti, in a quiet and pleasant countryside area. The location is ideal for quickly reaching Florence (55 km, 40 minutes), San Gimignano (30 km), Castellina in Chianti (10 km). The nearest village is Quercegrossa (3 km), with bars, restaurants, bank, pharmacy, post office. 5 km from the property, the Siena train station, with the largest supermarkets (Coop and Porta Siena shopping center). The Spa, horse riding, golf, bicycle rental are 15-20 minutes from the house. Beautiful walks in the surroundings.

Nice stay

It was a nice stay. Nice terrace and swimming pool. The accommodation is well equipped. Short distance to Siena and the shop. The only thing that was surprising was that at the end of the week we had to pay for the consumption of the air conditioning.

Un endroit de rêve près de Sienne

Mon épouse et moi venons de passer une très belle semaine dans la campagne proche de Sienne.L’hébergement (ancienne grange très bien aménagée) est spacieux, confortable et très bien équipé, et la grande terrasse couverte idéale pour le petit déjeuner et le dîner ( pour le déjeuner, la chaleur nous incite à rentrer pour profiter de l’efficace climatisation.)Magnifique jardin, superbe piscine et accueil chaleureux de notre hôtesse: nous recommandons vivement cet endroit!Jean-Marc (Belgique)

Perfekte Lage zur Erkundung der Toskana

Die Ferienwohnung mit historischem Charme ist sehr gepflegt und gut ausgestattet. Schöner Außensitz zum Frühstücken. Siena ist ca. 8 km entfernt. Eine Bushaltestelle ist nur wenige Hundertmeter vom Haus zu finden. Angenehme Vermieterin. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt.

Freundliche Gastgeberinnen, wunderbarer Garten

Schöne praktische Wohnung mit einer wunderbaren Terrasse zum fantastischen Garten hin. Im unteren Bereich des Gartens befindet sich eine schön eingerichtete Pool-Anlage. Der Standort ist sehr gut für Siena und Umgebung sowie die zahlreichen Wanderungen und Sehenswürdigkeiten (z.B. San Gimignano etc.). Die Gastgeberinnen (Tochter und Mutter) waren angenehm und freundlich - sie gaben uns hilfreiche Tipps (z.B. Essen; Parkmöglichkeiten in Siena etc.). Eine kleine Reparatur (Moskitonetz) wurde umgehend ausgeführt. Wir kommen gerne wieder. M. und S. aus Bern/ Schweiz

Idyllischer Garten und perfekt gelegen

Wir haben zwei Wochen mit unserem Baby hier verbracht, und uns sehr wohl gefühlt: die Vermieterin ist freundlich und entgegenkommend, die Küche ist super ausgestattet, das Bett bequem und die Größe der Wohnung wunderbar für uns drei. Perfekt war allerdings die Terrasse mit privatem Garten, wir haben die Ruhe genossen, und den tolle Schatten im Hochsommer! Die Moskitos etwas weniger… Die Lage war für uns ideal, sehr viele schöne Ausflugsziele in der Nähe oder über die Autobahn gut zu erreichen. Wir würden definitiv nochmal wieder herkommen, wenn es uns nochmal in die Toskana verschlägt!

Tres beau mais deception car votre site mentionnait une piscine privative...

Tres belle propriété accueillant 3 appartements. Le cadre est idyllique et calme. Seul bemol pour nous : la piscine annoncée comme privative ne l était pas. ( ainsi que la climatisation en fait inexistante, mais cela est moindre mal) sinon une fois passé le cap de cette deception tout s est tres bien déroulé : l appartement etait spacieux et bien équipé et nous avons eu un bon accueil des hotesses!
