Overnight in Monterrrey

Stayed for an overnight. Hotel is just by the airport. We took a taxi from the airport to the hotel and it was about a 4 minute ride for $200 pesos. Ubers were charging about $340 pesos for the same ride. The room was clean and spacious. We ordered room service, and the food was great and was delivered to our room in less than 20min. The hotel has a shuttle to the airport. We just did not know about it when we got there. Great for a quick stay.

Didn’t like the shuttle only working 5am-10pm and having to take a Uber for a property advertised by Expedia having a shuttle service and no time limits. Didn’t like noisy AC system and overall lack of noise insulation from neighbors and overhead flights.

If everything was working properly.

We had a 6 hour delay at the air port due to the Microsoft mishap, so we arrived to the hotel around 1am. Jonas was the receptionist that night and he helped us to get the shuttle from the air port to the hotel ans check us in fast and simple. The only if was that some of their power plants were not working so the lobby and restaurant area was hot and some of the elevators didn't. I arrived on Monday to to leavf my vehicle in the hotel for my flight and I had lunch at the restaurant, I ordered arrachera well done and it didn't looked well done and the meat was hard and chewy which surprised me because they have good meat in Monterrey.
