CHARMING 4BR BARN WITH PRIVATE POOL & WONDERFUL VIEWS, IN GREAT TUSCAN LOCATION!
This wonderful 4BR/3BA barn has been meticulously renovated and is surrounded by the most beautiful typical Tuscan landscape. It is part of a property that extends over approximately 12 hectares of land, including olive groves & vineyards from which a wonderful organic olive oil and Chianti red wine are produced year after year.
Located just about 20 Km from the city of Florence, the barn is ideally located to quickly reach places such as Siena (60 km), Pisa, San Gimignano, Montalcino, Volterra, etc... making it a truly unique property to stay at while enjoying the multitude of activities and places to see in Florence and its surrounding areas in Tuscany!
The nearest town (Montespertoli) lies only 3 km away from the property and features several great restaurants, grocery stores & shops as well as a large supermarket. While the nearest restaurant (500 meters away), is reachable on foot in just a few minutes.
The Barn has been renovated by the owner maintaining all its original features and charm. Right outside the barn’s entrance, the outdoor area comes with a covered patio (fully furnished), great for relaxing or dining al fresco. A perfectly functioning wood-burning oven is part of the outdoor area and caters to the most memorable Tuscan pizza nights or BBQ one can imagine!
The private swimming pool (size: 9 * 4 meters) features a fully furnished area with comfortable lounges, umbrellas and boasts direct views on the property’s vineyards/olive groves.

Rustic living in the Tuscan Countryside
We had a great experience at the Il Gufo farmhouse. We visited in the summer, so having AC in the bedrooms and the common areas was great. The pool helped cool us off and kept our youngest entertained. We were greeted with fresh olive oil and wine from the vineyard and olive oil orchard in which it is located, perfect for cooking up the local produce. The location was great for us. A fantastic restaurant close by and the town of Metrospertoli a short drive in the heart of Tuscany. You’ll need a car for sure but then you get to really see Tuscany and to be flexible with your plans.
